I use Html Button and Javascript code to Add items to Asp:DropDownList Control and use Asp:Button Click event to read Asp:DropDownList added items but when i click Asp:Button the Asp:DropDownList Added Items are disappeared how to read the dropdwon list items pls help me

 Hello......
i want to give validation on tab key press of particular server control.
just like i have 5 textbox and i wanna give required validation on 1st textbox and in other textbox have another validation.
when press tab on first textbox then only this validation should be fire..
then vice-varsa on every particular control.

Try with onfocusout.
ie,txt1.Attributes.Add("onfocusout","return FunctionName()")
It'll work on tab press when focus is in txt1.

if you want to get the client machine hdd details.
you should write a cab file using vb or vc,
also you need to sign th component, otherwise you need to set some configuration in the internet explorer.
through the cab , you can read any content from the client machine.

Can we apply javascript validation in Login Control. In login control it requires UserName and Password. If we don't enter UserName and Password and click the Submit or click button then it must ask for the UserName and Password in alert function(s)...........
