I am having a hard time populating an structured array. (0,0),(0,1),and (0,2) populate fine but I cannot get the rest if to do so. This is small part of a BasketBall Game simulation project, and it is kicking my butt. Here is my code:

Hi
Can you plz specify what exactly is the problem u are facing...
As from what I was able to c in the code
- The structure is defined before the object of it (I do not know weather it is allowed in VB, it was surely not allowed in some other old languages)
- You do not need to increment value of the loop variable (x in ur case) when u are using for loop

Look at what you did in this code. You setup a loop where on the first pass, x will be 0. You fill in your array, (0,0) (0,1) (0,2), then you increment x, so now it's 1, THEN YOU REACH THE "Next" statement, will will increment x again, so now it's 2. Since the For statement says 0 to 1, 2 is greater than 1, so the For/Next terminations, never filling in the (1,0) (1,1) (1,2) array values.

hi guys i dont know i am in the correct forum ,but i need help ..
actually i am working in vb.net (2005) and crystal reports ,
i am retrieving from data base and showing on a report, problem is that when there is a null value in the data base so on the report it remains blanck but i want to show a 0 value as it is a numeric filed and i am performing some calculations based on that field so if it remains blank i cant perform calculations correctly , i just want to display a 0 value when there is a null value in any row in a particular column,, thanks in advance

In order to get the desired output you may use try using If.. Else condition like:

Why would you have a NULL value in a numeric column in your database anyway? (Hint, hint)
Either make the change to the database table, or have the database replace NULL's with 0's, or write code to go over the returned DataSet (DataTable) and replace NULL's with 0's yourself. THEN you can pass the DataSet to the report.

what kind of code are you asking for? For the video recording?

This depends on what you're using to capture the video and save it to the AVI. It has to expose some methods for changing the encoding graph so you can add/change codecs to add compression to it. From the sounds of it, you're saving each frame of video completely uncompressed, which will, obviously, take up a LOT of space.

I'm just using a 2.6 mega pixel webcam. It really take up a LOT of space. Just imagine that a 1 min. video will take up a 290 memory space. Can you tell me how can I compress the video?

Like I already said, that's up to the video capture library that you're using. It has to give you the options to compress the video. If it doesn't, you'll have to use a different library that does, such as Microsoft's Media Encoder 9 SDK.

You will either need your phone connected to your PC somehow, or use a Web Service.
If you have your mobile phone connected to the PC, chances are the phone will expect data via a serial connection.
Check out the manufacturer's website for your mobile, as they may have an API you can use.

Hi,
I have encrypted the "WMV" video files. Is there any way to decrypt the Video files on-the-fly without storing on disk and play it in media player.
while decrypting i have a data as a BYTE[]. is it possible to assign the byte[] to player.

So you are trying to give an encrypted video to someone so they access it and play the video, but the catch is that they can't access it?

You simply don't have a choice here. MediaPlayer doesn't expose a method to play from an in-memory stream. You have to give it a file to play, that's not encrypted.
Now, I know you've already bee told to write a codec to do this.
