Hello Folks,
I am developing an application using Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition. I have been using the menu that comes with this development system. While it works ok, it certainly is not real pretty. I am looking for some tools to jazz up my application, but the primary focus is on menuing. I would like to stay in the $200 to $300 range. My app will run on GoDaddy. Any recommendations would be EXTREMELY appreciated!

I am using the following code to create a select box.

I am replacing the "ReplaceName" with the images file name without the extension.
It looks something like

Images_IMG2384<br />
When I iterate through the form data via "Request.Form" all of the values of the Images_ Keys are equal to "".
<br />
Request.Form["Images_IMG2384"] == ""<br />
How can I get option that was actually was selected.

Ok nevermind. It seems that using an ajax panel was causing the problem.
If anyone knows how I can put my Ajax panel back on the page but still get to this information it would be greatly appreciated.

I was adding via a method to show multiple pictures and drop downs. The problem was with the AJAX panel I had it on. It prevented it from sumbiting the selection. AJAX - Great idea. Poor Execution.

I have a web application and I would like to trigger a function without any button being pressed. For example, I would like to run a function at the end of the day (ie, when the computer clock is 7pm). Is this possible?

Sure, at 7:00pm you visit http://yoursite.domain.com/triggerevent.aspx with your web broswer.
It's obvious that you don't understand that web applications are stateless. You cannot have a web application trigger itself in that manner.

Perhaps the timer control can help you. You could use the timer to trigger the event and then check the current time and once you get to the time you want, you could take some action. Please see the link below. Hope this helps you.

By mistakely i deleted the "Microsoft Visual Studio Solution" file.
so i cant open my project.
how to recover the solution file or re-generate solution file?

Start VS, open the project then save: it'll prompt you to save the solution thusly recreating the .sln file.
