It seems that the reply mail receiver
(Unable+to+relay+for+shumaila.****@***.com) could not be reached. Please try to send an email to the reply receiver directly, it should fail. If it does, try to remove the reply option.
Please remove the logfile and the code example you submitted. I hope that the details in it are no real infos.
Hope this helps.

Write a little testprogram, where you send an mail to the receiver "shumaila.***@***.com" and check what log messages are created. You can email the logfiles to me.

Hello,
I've instaled the sql server express edition and I have a sql database in my app,I want my setup package to attache the database to this server.
THANKS

Not sure if a VS setup will do that, buying a decent setup program will let you do that, otherwise you could consider writing your own setup app.,

Hello,
I'm suppose to create a standalone executable file for my project which uses datasets from an SQL database. If anybody can tell me the procedure it would be quite helpful. I have completed my program and need to develop the application.

That really depends on whether you're connection to a database server, or to a database file on a networked machine. The differences are huge, so maybe if you're more specific we can help you more.

Ok... That is network machine not database server

|
|
|

OK, now what kind of database file on the network machine do you want to connect to?

If SQL Server is running on the network machine, then you are connection to a database server. It doesn't matter that the machine itself isn't actually called a database server. In either case, you can find any connection string you might need here.[^]
If you want to connect directly to a SQL Server database file on an a machine with an instance of SQL Server or SQL Server Express, you need to look at the "Microsoft SQL Server Database File" data source. This attaches a database file when you open a connection.

Hi everyone,
If I compile my project on the vista 64bit can I use of it on the XP(32bit) or no?
|
|
|
|
|
Building a project ON a 64 bit machine and building a project FOR a 64 bit machine are two different things. If you are building a solution to run on a 64 bit machine, it won't run on a 32 bit machine. But a 32 bit executable will run on a 64 bit machine with the help of a window on windows subsystem.

If the platform target of the project is "Any CPU", it will work on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems.

i have table used by two users , and i want to display alarm to user2 when user1 insert new row to the table ..
how to do that
regards

|

Hi,
You may try the following code snippet, it checks whether the row which user is trying to edit is a new row or not. If yes then it will show a message box.
BEGIN CODE
If dataGridView1.Rows(dataGridView1.CurrentRow.Index).IsNewRow = True Then
MsgBox ("This is a new row")
End If
END CODE
Hope this helps .

If you are using SQL Server 2005, you may be able to do it with Notification Services (haven't used it myself). Otherwise, you will have to poll the database periodically to see if new rows have been inserted.

What's the explanation for why this doesn't work? What I'm after is a MouseMove handler that does not get called as a result of my programmatic mouse moves. (I know there aren't a lot of good reasons to move the cursor programmatically. This is just an example. I'm after the theory here).
The result of this code is that the MouseMove handler is continuously called (as a result of the code that moves the mouse in the MouseMove handler). But why doesn't unsubscribing from the event prior to moving the mouse keep the handler from being called?
private void OnMouseMove(object sender, MouseEventArgs e)
{
this.MouseMove -= OnMouseMove;
Cursor.Position = new Point(Cursor.Position.X + 1, Cursor.Position.Y);
this.MouseMove += OnMouseMove;
}
My best guess is that this is a threading issue. If that's the case, any ideas on how to fix it? Any ideas?
Thanks!
Ian

In that event handler, you unsubscribe the event, change the position of mouse pointer, and subscribe again. The event handler will be called again after that.
For me, the codes works just fine.
|
|
|
|
|
But the handler is called in response to the move, which took place after I unsubscribed, and before I re-subscribed.

Hello everyone,
How to check whether a port on the local machine is occupied by another thread/process? (only whether or not occupied is ok, no need to know which party occupied the port.)
Any samples or APIs to use?
thanks in advance,
George
