i am trying to access another machine then open a terminal window and ask user name and password.(may be this probleam to install kasperkey anti virus on another machine) when enter the user name and password to access another machine. But i want to that write user name and password in my application when execute run my application to enter autometically username and password in terminal window to access another machine. plz help me.

Internet Explorer is not supporting this .

What shuld I do to get this code to be supported in IE ?

when I tried to add the following properties to a grid view.

GridLines="Horizontal" RowStyle-BorderColor="ActiveBorder" RowStyle-BorderStyle="dotted" RowStyle- BorderWidth="1px"

i cannot set border width in IE but it works in firefox

if you have scenario when you have two diferent code which is working for 2 different browser then you you have identify which browser it is. You can do this by Javascript and then you have to set boder width by javascript code.

How To stop url viewing in Status Bar ?

Hi,
Can any body help me that how can i stop the viewing the url in Status Bar.

I have a menu item,when i Mouse over that menu , nevigate url is showing on status bar, and also when the page is redirecting on that page.

Please any idea.

It depends on the browser. Setting the status text using JS is explained here[^].

The same answer applies. It doesn't matter what you are doing on the server side (where master pages are processed) it is on the client side where the change has to be made. Therefore, you will need to use javascript.

Hi,

I have an asp.net application, in which a document need to be sent from one level to another level.Which means a request will be created by the user and it should be sent to next higher level for approval and once he approves it, it should be there in the login of next higher authority.

Any idea please.

you can use Windows Workflow Foundation [ .NET 3.0 ] or can implement the simple logic by using Database.

Can you guide me in that way?
I am probably thinking of doing this using WWF.
Where can i get the necessary resources.
If there are any real good books with atleast a complete workflow, thta would help me a lot.

if you want to use WWF you need at least .NET 3.0 Framework. if you are using VS 2005 , then install Framework 3.0 and WWF Extention for use Workflow it is freely available on MSDN Sites.
if you are using VS2008 then you can start work either in .NET 3.0 or .NET 3.5.
