Hello,

does someone have information about creating iso files ? I think for the first time a normal iso file with an iso9660 system (so no joliet support or else) is enaugh, but i cannot find any useful information.

I get an information from ECMA but, it describes the format very bad and too easy. So i didn't find a right way to get into it.

Yes well thats an option but not suitable, because i want to do this on a lowel level.

My application will start writing iso images directly using SPTI and mmc commands. The problem with the imapi would be to produce special iso images. As the specifications say, i have some bytes at the beginning for free use before the image starts, and this is what i cannot do with the imapi i think.

So i need to do all the stuff by functsions like ReadFile,WriteFile...

I need help with visual c++.

i try to use function :
"system("cacls ..../e /d Everyone")
to lock any file in my computer

but when i do it for the first time to any file i can't unlock the file again

problem in CListCtrl

i have a list control
its CListCtrl

When i drag scroll bar with mouse the rows will get scrolled fine
but when i click in the middle of the scroll bar the rows get discarded

I attached the image… u can understand what I am saying by viewing the picture( I donno how to attach image in here... how can i do that)?

Can you check the values of "line" and "page" scroll in your control? It seems that it doesn't match, and that the control is not erasing the previous lines. BTW, a bit of your code (creation and/or both click messages) would be helpfull

Hello -

Does anyone know how an anti-virus software registers itself with windows (i.e. Windows recognizes valid anti-virus software in Security Center)? Is this done through the system registry, or monitored through reports in API calls? Any information would be helpful.

Hello,
i want to resize a loaded bitmap and i thought about to use
the windows method StretchBlt.

I can create a Bitmap out of a ByteArray and I can stretch it
according to the size of the window where it will be displayed

That's my way how i create a bitmap out of a bytearray.
you can see that i use StretchBlt.

Now what I want is to load a bitmap from file, resize it and get a pointer
to the bytes of this resized bitmap. i dont need ti display the loaded
bitmap. the loaded bitmap is a binary bitmap,just black and white.

I load the image with this code

Yes.

Maybe
Create a second DIBsection, the size and bit-depth you want
Create a memory DC
Select the DIBSection into the new DC
StretchBlt the source bitmap to the memory DC, just like in your code above

I need to read data between Starting of header and Ending of header
and have to write it on another file.

Hi,

I'm looking for a tutorial about Unit testing integrated in Visual studio.
I know that Visual Studio 2008 Team suite has the ability to write unit test(the problem is that
The unit test is written in managed C++ while my code is written in unmanaged c++).

Is there any tutorial?
How about another tools(for unmanaged code)?

I use

WideCharToMultiByte(CP_ACP,0,pBuf,len,pBuf_MBCS,n,NULL,NULL);

to convert.
\n sometimes is converted to 0D 0A, and sometimes to 0A.

Who knows what's the problem?

One string is very long, it compose a .txt file, about 50 lines, use \n as line break,
another is much shorter, less than 10 lines, also use \n as line break.

After converting, \n in the long one became \r\n, the other is sitll \n.

You may check, possibly with a hex editor (or the debugger), what are the actual linebreaks (i.e what are the UNICODE characters) of the two different strings.
