I suggest you to select multiple columns in t-sql statement and cast as single column,then bind dropdownlist with that query.
Example:
T-SQL Query
Select column1+' '+ Column2+' ' +column3 as MultipleColumns from TableName
Binding DropDownList
DropDownList1.DataValueField = "ColumnName";<br />
DropDownList1.DataTextField = "MultipleColumns ";
Hope this will give you an idea.

How you are accessing the control in other pages.
Or what problem you are getting?
Did you try by creating a public property in the control, That return required information of the fileupload control?

actually i have fileupload control in a usercontrol for retriveing the name of the file or image i am using property:
public string pic
{
get
{
return cchildpic.FileName;
}
}
and at code behind this code:
if (cchildpic.FileName != "")
{
cchildpic.PostedFile.SaveAs("C:/Upload1" + cchildpic.FileName);
}
and after that i am using this usercontrol at page2 by drag and drop the user control .
this is the small part of the app. if more require then i will give more explanation about app.

HI
this problem have been shortedout .now images stored in a folder properly.but i am using session at page 2 to take the name of the picture at page 2 like that;
Session["p1"] = ctcchild1.pic;
it gives right value at page 2.
but at page i am using this:
Image1.ImageUrl = "C:\\image" + Session["p1"].ToString();
at this page session value did not give any value .
give blank value.
plz suggest me .

I have a little task that is triggered by a page field rendered in a Javascript block in the page, like this,
var isActuallyNew = <%=this.isActuallyNew %>; However, I'm temporarily 'forced' to declare isActuallyNew as a string, and store "true" in it, because a bool renders as "True", which the Javascript doesn't like. Is there a tidier way of doing this?

Hi friends,
I have a problem with NUnit while checking values with db.
I have created a sql plugin and added it to appropriate addin folder and i can view it under tools->addins->Registered Addins.
whenever i run the a test with the new sql attribute the test is passed
for eg:
[SqlServerDataSource(ConnectionString = "Data Source=DTP00B249\\SQLEXPRESS;Intial Catalouge=sample;Integrated Security=True", Query = "SELECT pword FROM login where uname='paul'")]
public void TestInput()
{
Assert.IsTrue(true);
}
But whenever i pass a value in my method like
public void TestInput(string uname)it throws the Test Not Run Method saying
Method Method name signature is not correct:it must not have parameters.
Please explain how to resolve the error.

I am designing Online Test Creation Using asp.net(C#). in that question display should be like this;

my questions and Options had saved in two Sql tables.
Question(idquestion,Qname,Answer,Qtype) idQuestion is primary key
Answer_Detail(idAnswerDetail,idquestion,options) idAnswerDetail is primary key and idquestion is Foreign Key
how can i display one question at a time randomly, if i have 100 questions in my database. on next button click i have to get another question and on previous button click i have to go back to previous button. which control i have to use for this one. i have to select one radio button among given following four options.
i used grid view,details view ..etc but i could not get the above format..
my requirement:
1)display one question at a time randomly, if i have 100 questions in my database. on next button click i have to get another question and on previous button click i have to go back to previous button.
2) the selected option should be saved to database table. because i have Previous Test page in which i have to show all the previous tests Taken, along with all the questions in that test with which option user was selected during test
3)i have to maintain a timer....
please give suggestion on coding...

iam having three user controls in say uc1,uc2,uc3.iam using this uc1 in ,uc2 and uc3 .where in uc1 iam having a gridview.now iam taking these controls in another web page.the problem is the grid is recognised in the uc2.but it is not recognising in the uc3 .it is genarting a script error .object is required, how this problem is solved.

Or if (mbody.Length > 0) return always 0 (zero) length ?

If there is only one Table in the DS always, Why cant you use a DataTable.
New one wrote: drc.Table.Rows[k][1].ToString()
Set a break point a check what value is there in the above code.
