Did you include (as required) commctrl.h ?
BTW I think you should use SendMessage with LVM_GETVIEW , see [^].

Hi,
yes, i include "commctrl.h". i am using in mfc, so it is possible to "SendMessage" ?.
i used as
ON_ Message(LVM_GETVIEW,onGetStyle)
then i implement onGetStyle()method. After that i complie it, an error message was occur "error C2065: 'LVM_GETVIEW' : undeclared identifier" at compile time itself

Ok, from a previous post of yours, I thought the opposite. Anyway, if you are using MFC, why not simply use GetView[^] ?

Yes.

You have to define _WIN32_WINNT greater or equal to 0x0501 .

As far as I remember, you were using the Win32 API and no MFC, right ? ON_MESSAGE is a MFC macro.

yes i am using ON_MESSAGE macro, there only i am geting error "LVM_GETVIEW" is undeclared identifier. how can i avoid that error. please you have any idea.

Hi,
I need complete source code of SVN C++ API.
To access the features of SVN like 'Commit' 'Checkout' etc from VC++ code.
Purpose:-
To be able to open a file which is in SVN from my application and should
be able to commit the changes so that file gets modified in the svn.
How to access these features from my VC++ code?
What libraries i need to include?
any Example projects?
can anyone help me?
Thanks......

Hi,
i tried the site Subversion and downloaded the complete project.
I need to follow so many steps for debugging it.
I need an Example project which uses some of the features of the SVN.
To understand how to integrate SVN API, libraries and how to use those features.
I tried downloading some of the projects like RapidSvn, QSvn etc.. iam able to get the source files but not the complete project so iam not able to debug and check.
Is there any example project?
Thanks in advance....

My point was that the Subversion site is a much better
place to start than here.
For example, I bet there's lots of SVN-knowledgeable people on the
Subversion Mailing Lists[^].
You can also type SVN or Subversion into the search articles bar here...

Usually it is better to return a reference of a permanent object.

you're kidding, right ?
what are you trying to do with this ?
do you know what a stringstream is ?
what do you want to achieve exactly ?
CodingLover wrote: I've try this but unable to figure out what the error is.
what error ?
compilation error ?
linker error ?
runtime error ?
any message description to share ?

warning C4996: 'itoa' was declared deprecated
How to get rid of these warnings?
i also get warnings for strcat , CStdioFile::fopen.
i tried with _sitoa_s, but when this line gets executed it gives assertion error !!

Then it means you are using then in a wrong way. Did you read the documentation of those functions and use them properly ? If after reading the doc, you still can't fix the problem, post some code to show how you use these functions.
|
|
|
|
|
i use the following code
int a = 10;
char ch [2];
CString str;
itoa (a, ch, 10);
str += ch;
i get the warning of deprecated, hence i use
int a = 10;
char ch [2];
CString str;
_itoa(a, ch, 10);
str += ch;
i again get deprecated warning, now i use
int a = 10;
char ch [2];
CString str;
_itoa_s (a, ch, 2, 10);
str += ch;
this time when the above line, i.e _itoa_s (a, ch, 10); is executed i get Assertion error !!

It is still using the deprecated version of the function.

Your buffer is too small: it should contain two characters plus the null-terminating zero of the string. So, it should be 3 instead of 2.
