QuestionWrite DataTable To Fixed Width Text File Pin

MumbleB30-Sep-08 23:15
Hi Guys. I have gooled for the above and can't find any topic that describes how to do this. I have found numerous topics that explain how to write to Excel and CSV which I know how to do and currently am doing in my app but I need to change this to Write to a FixedWhidth Text File.

Can anybody please let me know of a link that I can look at? I need to export the data in my DataTable to a Fixedwidth file that looks somethig like this.

U01234567890120920080832345675 testemail@test.co.za C

The code I have currently writes the data to a CSV file which is then re-worked manualy into the above format. I want to export the data directly into the above format. D'Oh! | Cry | :(( Sigh | :sigh:

Any help or references would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Excellence is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well.
