You'll have to roll your own control for this - don't think there is a built in option.

Hi , Can i put Lable or Any Other Control in GridView's HeaderTemplate ,
i put control in HeaderTemplate and find this Control but its not working

now labname value show null with Error .
The same Conditon works fine if i use Control in ItemTemplate .
tell me the Solution .

You have to find that control after databinding
and when dataitembound event gets fired in that you will get row
if that rrow type is hederrow then you will get that control

select grid control go to property page and in that event list
will get rowdatabound event double click over there
in that eent you will get e.row type chek that type and then finde your control if row type is header

hy,
how can i call a web services page for an event on web page so that when ever an event is fired on web page(letz say update button),the processing(code for update) is done on web services page and then i get the result on the web page.The main motto is that the event should be fired on the web page, processing should be done in the web services page and result should be displayed again on web page.

Unless I'm missing something thats pretty much a standard description for how a web service works. You need to write the code to send to/receive from the web service in your update button event and re-populate your page with the data received.

I have a site in which i have used i-frame
to open a site in which i have 2 I-frame
in those i-frames i am opening .aspx pages in which i have implemented Ajax and validations.
When i open this site with the help of browser then all Ajax control validators work fine but when i open this site in another site using iframe then it shows JavaScript error "Access Denied"

hi all
i m binding dataset to datagrid. after binding i removing some cells in datagrid in itemdatabound event.
after this when i render the datagrid. the removed cells appears again in excel sheet.
cud anyone tell how i can render datagrid manually??

The object reference not set an instance of object tells me that it either cannot find the myusercontrolpage control on you page or the TextBox5 control on your objTestControl.
Debug and see where it happens.
Depending on how your control works you can expose the textbox text property as a property on you control that returns and set the textbox value. Just an idea...

You should create a public property on the usercontrol and set the textbox value from within the property.

Hi,
I m working on an asp.net c# website. I have used session to maintain user login. Now the problem is when user clicks logout I have removed the session variables value and redirected user to a default page.
Now when the user clicks back button of the browser he is again inside that website which is supposed to be used after login.
Is there any solution for this ?

Sumit has given the correct solution. you have to use Session.Abondan(). it will remove all session and set them to null.
if this is your logout code
public void logout()<br />
{<br />
Session.Abondan();<br />
Response.Redirect("Login.aspx"); <br />
}
Now it will redirect to Login page. now if user click on Back Button of browser , it will again back to your last page, so you have to check the session on page load
check
if(Session["UserName"] == null )<br />
{<br />
response.redirect("Login.aspx");<br />
}<br />
else<br />
{<br />
}<br />
so this will again redirect to your login page even if user click on back button.

I have done this.
I have checked session at page load for empty or null.
this has something to do with browser.
Mozilla maitains session in cache or something coz when I try to use any feature after pressing back button I m again out.
Any suggestion?
