A better method is to get a ASP.NET book and work out the examples provided. Web forums are useful only when you know the basics.

Do you want to send mails automatically which is scheduled for a particular time, then you can create a windows service for it.

This is suggested constantly. But IMO, windows service is overkill for things that will work on a scheduled time. The service has to sit idle waiting for the next schedule which is a waste.
Sending mails on scheduled intervals can be done easily by creating a console application which sends the mail and exits automatically. Now configure this with the windows scheduler. Simple and efficient.

Hi to all,
I am using datalist control in which I have to display two items.
1.image
2.name
Code for datalist:
<asp:DataList ID="DataList1" runat="server" CellPadding="4" <br />
ForeColor="#333333" RepeatDirection="Horizontal" CellSpacing="35" <br />
RepeatColumns="3" Width="546px" <br />
onselectedindexchanged="DataList1_SelectedIndexChanged"><br />
<ItemTemplate><br />
<table><br />
<tr><br />
<td><br />
<asp:ImageButton ID="ImageButton1" runat="server" Height="100px" Width="100px" ImageUrl='<%# Eval("cat_image") %>' /><br />
<asp:HyperLink ID="HyperLink1" runat="server" Text='<%# Eval("category_name") %>' Font-Bold="true" /><br />
</td><br />
</tr><br />
</table><br />
</ItemTemplate><br />
<FooterStyle BackColor="#5D7B9D" Font-Bold="True" ForeColor="White" /><br />
<AlternatingItemStyle BackColor="White" ForeColor="#284775" /><br />
<ItemStyle BackColor="#F7F6F3" ForeColor="#333333" /><br />
<SelectedItemStyle BackColor="#E2DED6" Font-Bold="True" ForeColor="#333333" /><br />
<HeaderStyle BackColor="#5D7B9D" Font-Bold="True" ForeColor="White" /><br />

What he meant to say was whether the file path is coming correct or not which you can verify by seeing the source of that page(html).

What is the point in posting a new message in every few minutes just saying same thing everytime. If one is interested you will get the reply for your question. Have some patience.

I’ll redirect to google for the above picture, for example when I search google for asp.net, this asp.net keyword shows at address bar as . QueryString("q") and asp.net comes up first at search results. I want to display “you’ve accessed our site with . QueryString("q") keyword” on the site clicked through google . QueryString("q") I mean when asp.net first site is clicked. Is this possible and if possible how can I code with asp and asp.net?

You can read querystring from the javascript as well as Codebehind.You can also get the URL of previous page and it's controls using Page.PreviousPage at codebehind.

ArifShaikh wrote: So I want other method to show my messages
1 - Show the message in a popup window.
2 - Using JS, create a DIV with the required error message and show it on the page.
CSS can be applied in all those points.
