I done a program in C# that I can access all MS Access database file (Inside all table).
Know i can access all table values. know I m planning to update / delete/ and insert operation.
1.For that I want find Primary Key Value for delete and update.
2.In case Insertion find the Primary key to avoid duplication.
3.If any new method plz tel me.
I m new to C#.

Hi,
do you need help with your sql-statements?
1. Well, what do you want to delete/update? E.g. if you want to update data for a person, you normally have a row representing this person. If your user enters data in a form to edit this person, you have the primary key, since you loaded this person before.
2. If the primary key will be incremented automatically, you don't need to set one. If it is not, just do a select with the new primary key before inserting the new row.
3. Don't understand the question here. What do you mean by "new method"?

Actually I m not use a single database.
My application can open any database(MS Access File).
So that i don't know content of file. After open the database it retrieve all data value and header name also.
Know I can view all the data but can't update, delete or insert b'coz
1. Don't know the Primary Key value. some time it gives error.
and Which base I can perform the delete / Update Operation.

Hmm, I think you are using odbc or something similar to access the database.
One possibility to identify the primary key column could be to use Automation (take a look here http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B317114&x=18&y=5[^].
Then you could open the file using access and find the primary-key column.
Some SQL-DBS offers the possibility to get information abouot the structure by sql statements, but I don't know if access can do this.

Hi,
what kind of tables do you mean exactly? Database-Tables, DataTables in memory?
You can use GridView-Controls to display data from tables.
Please be more specific what you want to achieve, so that we can help you a bit better.

Hi all,
I'm just wondering if there is a way around this problem:
Basically, when an incoming call comes in and then it is missed, the event fires and grabs the last name and number of the caller. The problem being is that there are two lines added that are identical to the listbox.
SystemState MySysState = new SystemState(SystemProperty.PhoneMissedCall);
MySysState.Changed += new ChangeEventHandler(MySysState _Changed);
void MySysState Changed(object sender, ChangeEventArgs args)
{
ListBox1.Add(SystemState.PhoneLastIncomingCallerName.ToString() + ": " + ListBox1.Add(SystemState.PhoneLastIncomingCallerNumber.ToString());
}
MySysState is being declared in the form load, btw.
Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Are you sure you need the nested ListBox1.Add()? Shouldn't the code look like:
void MySysState Changed(object sender, ChangeEventArgs args)
{
ListBox1.Add(SystemState.PhoneLastIncomingCallerName.ToString() + ": "
+ SystemState.PhoneLastIncomingCallerNumber.ToString());
}
There is also one missing ")" in your code

Could it be that the event is being fired twice in quick succession? When I wrote a similar piece of code, I vaguely remember the event firing everytime the number of missed calls change. It fires when you get a missed call (missedcall count = 1) and fires when you go to the missed calls window (missedcall count = 0).

Look for XNA tutorials - there are plenty of those out there
(XNA is Microsoft's managed wrapper around DirectX, and opens the door to the Xbox community games - i.e. if you get it good, you can get it released, and start earning money off it)
