Hi All,
I have implemented dialog based application with a static text control on it, the length of static text changes dynamicaly, and I want to set the width of dialog box so that only static text should get display(single line), as per length of static text dialog box width get changes.
So please give me hint or solution.

here is the position where I am now.
I am giving my re explaining my problem again.
There is absolutely no problem when I compile the program without a header file (which is a .h file of ACE framework) ie #include "Defines.h"

#include "time.h"
#include "WaveRecorder.h"
#include "MultiXtR.h"
#include <queue>
#include <vector>
using std::vector;
using std::queue;
//#include "Defines.h"

But when i include the header file ...it gives error...I think its clash/redefinition..

When you want to use < characters in messages, you have to check the "Ignore HTML tags in this message" because we can't see anything. And it's quite difficult to help you then...
Anyway, did you include the header file of the class that you are using as template parameter for your vector (I don't know what it is because I can't read it).

No, I was talking about the header file of the class which you are using as template parameter for the vector. So, the class which is between the < > (if it is a class).
But please, edit your first message and follow my advice, otherwise people won't be able to help you much.

I get it correct by using
#include "iostream.h"
using namespace std
No problem at all.It works fine.
But, I don't want to use the header file(iostream) since there is again a conflict between some functions with ace framework,which I am using in my program.

You should include <iostream> instead. The .h version is deprecated.

For vector you need only include vector.

Yes, but you have to define what the vector will contain. If the vector should contain objects of type "MyClass", then obviously you have to include the header file of "MyClass". That's what I was telling him. But as we can't see anything from his post, it was just a guess.

use the "Ignore HTML tags in this message (good for code snippets)" option when posting code,
or use the 2 buttons ">" and "<" to replace the hard-coded < > in your code snippet.

Hi all,
This is what I did (VC++ 6.0):
1. Add a new dialog
2. Insert ActiveX Control: Microsoft Web Browser (which added CWebBrowser2 class)
3. Add the object in the dialog
4. Create a variable for that object (CWebBrowser2 m_ctlBrowser;)
Now, so far so good. I can go to the website I want.
My question is: once I am in the desired website which prompts user input, I want to be able to simply press a button to fill it out. Let's say I already put the cursor there and there is only one "edit box" to fill.
Is this doable? Thanks for any suggestion.

Hi all,
If any application is running,when we right click on it over task bar a menu diplayed that is having menu items like Restore, Move, Size, Minimize, Maximize and close.
in any sdi type application if any dialog box or Message box or any other window is open ,this menu not displayed even i right click on task bar.
i want to add this feature on system tray icon.
i want if any dialog box or Message box or any other window is open ,so for right click on system tray icon the Menu not displayed.
Is this functionality is possible to implement on System Tray Icon.
please help me for this.

Hi,
I am able to create wizards(type of Dialogs as tabs) by using CPropertyPage and CPropertySheet.But how can I communicate between different windows?
In one of my window I am having one button.If I click on that button it should show another window.

Hi at all,
how can I avoid symmetric NAT for RTP?
With the SIP Protocol all works fine.
But with RTP Streams there is the problem,
that sometimes the media data couldn´t be send.
Packetyzer shows that the packets were send to the Server
but then the packets will be lost.
The topology is following.
Registering on an Asterisk Registrar and then
sending SIP Messages to the same server. Then
I take the address from the SDP Package
and send the rtp data to this IP:PORT - Socket.
By analysing i.e SJPhone they do send the same packets
like me and doesn´t use a STUN or TURN server.
I tried to get the first incoming RTP Packet from server
and take the address the packet is come from.
But first is the same Address which will give over SDP
and it doesn´t work two.

My dialog based application is sending some messages to other application. I want to keep some time delay (some seconds) while sending messages. I tried to use delay method, but it is giving compile time error as undeclared variable. For delay I included dos.h header file.

You should use a timer (see [^], [^]).
BTW the Win32 function to obtain some delay is Sleep [^], anyway, the timer route is far better.

AFAIK, there's no delay function, you probably meant the Sleep function ? Anyway, that's probably not the best way to handle your problem because in that situation, your UI will be frozen while you sleep. You might want to take a look at timers (search on google to find example about timers with MFC).
