Hiiiii everyone..........I am building a online shopping website....I need some guidance......in my home page in the left panel,there is a treeview control. and whenever user clicks on link in left panel....details comes in right panel.....and on this result i want multiple images to display. what is the best way to show multiple images.......like showing in www.naaptol.com. If Gridview then please guide me a bit.

Simply use Master page.

Hello All,
I want to ask that, Can I communicate data into a web application through the windows service??
Actually My problem is that I have a Call Dialer which is responsible to dial the call into our BPO.So that dialer activex control easily use into a c# windows application but it is not to use in web application.
So I want to this scenerio in front end my Web application run and the data processing end my windows services take care of that and dispaly the appropriate data to my web application according to need..
so Is IT Possible??? If yes then how can ?? I am searching into google also but I want to your help also..

One thing you can do,If you want to show the data in your webapplication,let the windows service do the data processing job,Create a webservices that will monitor the database,and once your processing is done by win service you can show oit on your web page..

ya I Thought about that But how can I get the live data through windows services. Is it possible to run the windows service through the web application button click event. And other question is that I have must be add the my dialer ActiveX into my windows services when we add that activeX into my windows application then user able to dial and recive a call through dialer

As you said that your widows services is processing the data.After processing it you can put it in some kind of temporary database,and Monitor the DB from your webservice and show it on your webapplications or you can put some async call which will access the DB and show data on your webpage.
Windows service should always be running on the system and process the data when gets some data.

I am using windows Vista with IIS 7. I created an asp.net application with passsowrd recovery control that sends password to user by email. But each time I try to recover a password, it shows an error message "An existing connection was forcibly closed by remote host". I have also installed a 3rd party tool SmartMail smtp server, but I do not know how to configure it in web.config file of my application.
Please tell in detail as I dont have any idea of using smtp server.

this question has nothing to do with ASP.NEt. I expect most people just use a commercial mail server, and don't set up their own, so you really need to ask the people who sold you the third party dll for help.

I need date of birth in a form through three dropdownlistbox,one is day,second is month,third is year,and Date of Birth is stored in one column "date" in database.

What problem are you facing to doing that ? Take the selected item from three dropdown list, and then concate them store them as date in DB.

If you don't know how to do this, then you don't know enough to do any ASP.NET, really. so, you should buy a beginner book and read it. You should also distinguish between sites where you post your code and ask for help, and where you post a spec and pay people to write stuff for you.

Hi..
I have stored procedure to display listofdays by using year and month.My Storedprocedure filter all the Listofdays by leapyear and by month it will display listofdays.
In my stored procedure i used two parameters month & Year.I want to bind lisofdays spro in code behind with two parameters and how i call this listofdays method to my dropdownlist??
I am using below methods for binding the data into datatable.
Getdatatable Method
sqlconn = GetConnection();
cmd.Connection = sqlconn;
da = new SqlDataAdapter(cmd);
dt = new DataTable();
da.Fill(dt);
return (dt);
Calling My Spro

The method is correct.??If so when i put breakpiont and checking its not filling the data in datatable.

The obvious question is, is your stored proc correct? Is the SqlCommand being executed properly but no data is being returned?
Seems critical thinking and debugging skills are a lost art.

Yes..I Tested and executed my spro.Its working.When i am adding parameter values year and month..its displaying listofdays according to month and year.

Ok, so what else could you test? Apply some thought processes. It will develop your skills and may lead to an answer without having to ask people to solve it for you.

I have a master page in my application and there is one heade and footer. The issue is when the child pages contain less content, the footer comes up, else it comes down. Is there any way that I can made it as static? Means I want to display the same at the bottom center.
Probably it will be some settings on CSS/HTML. Can anybody please provide any link or examples to that. I tried to put align="center" in <tr>, but doesn't have much effect. Can anybody provide any suggestion?
