Hi There,
This is my repost.In my previous post I was not explained my problem properly.My problem is that.............

When I run my project from IIS server which is on my loacal machine then it works properly and my menu tree gets loaded properly from data base.But when I host same project on web server on net that time it runs properly but only menu tree doesn't get loaded.And in both the condition I am using same database which present on remote database server.

I try that be cant bind the data and get pbm as there is no source available when the compiler moves to Databind(); my code is

hi folks,
im facing a issue in changing internet explorer--> custom level security setting--> miscellaneous setting--> access data sources across the domain , i want to enable access data sourcess across the domain , im trying to get the registry key n sub key by following code , but i dont know how to get miscelleneous setting subkey values. or how to enable them ?
any help would be greatly appreciated .
my code is -:

You know that using ASP.NET with this code will only search in the servers registry?

By the way, I think it is not intended that code should affect security settings. This is not what the user of your site wants. Maybe you should think about dropping that feature.

I need to be able to print the contents of a richtextbox, which saves in the database as html. I'm working with a rtc that is fairly limited and I can't use any third party ones for security reasons. I don't know where to even start.. Using Asp.Net 2.0 C#..

I created a custom dropdownlist. (inherit from standard dropdownlist control)
I want to add ListItem inside this control. but I don't know where I must add ListItem.
I add it in RenderContent method but I received NullRefrenceException .

I published my website and then i copied my project folder in www run my project using localhost but what happen is it shows code of my application rahter then design page.

i cant get why this happen.

Please suggest

After publishing the site, you have to deploy the site on IIS, and does not mean that just putting the code on wwwroot.

Do the Following Steps :
1. Published the code.
2. Put the code into wwwroot
3. Open IIS > You will see there should be a folder with the name of your web application
4. Right Click on that and Click on Properties.
5. Click on Create Virtual Directory Folder.
6. Set additional Setting if you need
7. Then try to access using http://localhost/virtualdirectory/home.aspx

Let me know if you have any issue.

I DID THE SAME AS U SUGGESTED...

BUT THERE IS NO OPTION LIKE CREATE VIRTUAL DIRECTORY ON RIGHT CLICK OF MY FOLDER.
SO PLEASE SUGGEST HOW CAN I GET THAT.

That because you didn't set the framework version in Virtual Directory Properties. Goto the properties of the virtual directory, then go to ASP.NET Tab, check the asp.net version, If your web application developed in asp.net 2.0 then it should be 2.0.x.x .
Set that, apply and try again !!

It will work.

What do you mean by meta base ? Can you tell me what actual error are you getting ? Are you able to view your page now?
