Hello all,
I am trying to find a way of telling in a .net page load method whether or not it was called by a browser extension.
The reason it came up is that I recently installed the skype extension for Firefox and found that a page I was developing was suddenly reloading every 2 seconds. The main code for the page is called within a "If Not Page.IsPostBack Then" statement in the page load, but the reload from the extension was not being caught by this. After a lot of searching it turned out to be the skype extension.
It is no problem for me to uninstall the extension, but I know there are a few of our clients that use skype and the skype add-on. It would be a big inconvenience to them if they would have to disable and re-enable the add-on just to view certain pages in our app.
Is there anyway of telling if an extension calls a reload instead of ordinary page events?

Hello All
I need to search pattern in Array list using Javascript.
Like there is one Array which have five value like
a[0] = 'apple'
a[1] = 'car'
a[2] = 'car1'
a[3] = 'bike'
a[4] = 'office'
a[5] = 'computer'
i want find those array list which are contain 'ca' character
OUTPUT:- like
In another array have contain two element like car and car1
can you please help me out how it possible in javascript?

Hi i am binding my database values to repeater control using pageddatasource...,
now i want to show above the repeater...,
total number of records and displaying values...,
means for ex:
if i have 13 records and my paging size is 5
thn load time it have to show like this...,
1-5 from 13
and then pageindex change
it have to show
6-10 from 13
thne another page index it have to show
11-13 from 13
if i click prev button
then it have to show
6-10 from 13 like

You need to create Virtual Directory on IIS and set the proeprties for Virtual Direcotry

i have created virtual directory in the iis and added .* extension eventhough it is not working.
how to set the properties for virtual directory on remote server. here i am using webhost4life.com for hosting my website.

You are using Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Studio 2008 ? If Visual studio 2005 then chose "AJAX Enabled Web Site" from New > Web Site.
