Okay, I added my technical blog to the site, and the articles are getting pulled in and I can view them here, but they are not showing up when browsing blog posts or in search. Is there something else that needs to be done?

New Blogs, like new articles, go through a moderation process. Once a gold (or above) member has checked and approved the article it will appear on the site.

Another one of those perennial favorites came up again today ( http://www.codeproject.com/Lounge.aspx?msg=3211478#xx3211478xx).
This sort of question would be best handled by a wiki - available wikis could be listed on a wiki index page.
[And no, I still don't want a wiki for code snippets.]
[Update] It occurs to me that a simple way to create and manage a wiki would be to use a Lounge-style forum; when a general-interest question is posted in the Lounge (or any forum), a wiki could be created by selecting the thread and specifying a wiki name. The thread would remain in the Lounge (or wherever), and copied to the new wiki. At that point any member could contribute to the wiki (with sub-gold posts requiring approval?), just as they do now in the Lounge.

Where would this Wiki sit? As in: how would it fit into the current content? A separate section for random Wikis, or a Wiki for each category, or...?

You could have a menu selection "Wikis" just like you do now for "Message Boards". There would be multiple wikis, not just one. So there would be a "All Wikis" selection on the Wikis menu, which would bring up the list of all wikis.
The basic idea is that a wiki = a forum. So you already have all the code in place to handle these wikis.
It would be great to pick a programming forum (say, the C# forum), and have a little list pop up with a list of wikis recently viewed by other C# forum visitors - sort of like what Amazon does.
Wikis would not be associated with a category. Think of a thread in the Lounge - that's what a wiki would be, essentially a forum. A wiki could discuss a book, a programming technique, or anything else that you see scattered among the various Lounge and programming forums; these wikis would be a handy way to say, Go take a look at this wiki.
Each wiki would have its own name; offering readers the opportunity to tag a wiki would make them even more accessible.
The wikis would offer another point of entry into the site, each wiki representing the collective opinion on a topic by the CP community.

It seems that the CP home page is now oriented toward whatever is selected on the orange Article Category bar (under the green menu bar)....
Except: the MOST POPULAR list includes all categories, not just the category you have specifically told the hamsters that you want to see. I would like to see only the most popular in the category I have selected.
[Edit] If you select All Topics, the MOST POPULAR list would display what it does currently.

This isn't what I'm seeing (nor what the code says its doing). I click on All Topics and it shows one set of popular articles. I click on C# and the Most Popular is now a different list.
One issue that you have highlighted, though, is that some articles that are appearing in the lists should not be there. This is an attribution issue. I'll ask Sean to go through and clean them up.

It used to be that if you wanted a blank line within a code block you had to type at least a SPACE on the line, but even that didn't work on my last post, I'll try here:

Plus when the textbox has a scrollbar, the text has been jumping around as I type this afternoon.
P.S. I'm currently using IE8.
P.P.S. OK, I'm sure when I first wrote this post I had one SPACE on the blank line. I came back and checked and there was none, so I added one. Now I check again and there are two!

==> it is an IE rendering problem.
It reminds me of the "missing table cell" phenomenon:
on a regular table, with tr and td tags, if one of the rows lacks a td /td pair, it shows fine on FF but not on IE, and I just learned yesterday there is some CSS command to say explicitly what should happen to "empty-cell"s
