I want to have a link to an other web page, like "http://www.saromark.info" in my asp.net application.
So I add a the link as an anchor with some text.
The link in my page then becomes "http://www.mysite.comhttp://www.saromark.info".
I have tried different asp controls, but allways the same result.
How do I get rid of my site as prefix added by asp?

The result is the same eigther:
string LinkName="Art Collection";
string LinkUrl="http//:www.saromar.info";
cell.text=""+LinkName+"";
or if I write:
HyperLink hl=new Hyperlink();
hl.NavigateUrl=LinkUrl;
hl.Text=LinkName;
cell.Controls.Add(hl);
Still the LinkUrl is just concatenated to the current page URL.
Would be very grateful for help.

ASP.NET C# ONLINE VENUE BOOKING SYSTEM
i need help with my project i have done an online venue booking system and it needs to:
1.check for available venues for a specific day and time
2.Make a simple booking from entering your contact details, to selecting a venue, to selecting items, and printing a PDF
3.it must have an admin backend to edit and manage booking
4.bookings must be disabled not deleted permanently 4 security reasons, but it must not be viewable in the grid views once disabled
5.i need a asp.net C# popup calendar that actually works and doesn’t cause my program to crash
6. I need it to send an email to the user containing hi or her password on booking details
7.i need to use the web.config I don’t know how, my program cant book when I’ve migrated to another computer
PLEASE CAN YOU HELP ME. THIS PROJECT DETERMINES WEATHER I PASS OR FAIL THE YEAR.
A SAMPLE PROGRAM THAT BOOKS ONLINE WOULD'NT BE SUCH A BAD IDEA.

I guess, this is your exam assignment. So you need to do it yourself. You have puted the complete requirment of your project. This will not help you to get the answer.
Start working with Pen and paper. Understand your requirment. Point out the main module and submodule. Design the database. Start development step by step.
If you stuck then ask over here. you will get many help.

You could at least make an effort to research it yourself; try Google, go to the library, design some classes. Nobody here is going to do the work for you unless thay get the qualification at the end, or a lot of money.

I'm guessing you're going to fail. Which means you deserve to, this all sounds pretty easy to me. If you can't do it, then you don't deserve to pass. Why would we help you sneak into our industry, and then possibly bring your zero skillset into our offices ?

To all the people who replied, thnx. i forgot to tell u guys that i already done the project, im having difficulties in the minor things, i need a expert to check it for me and tell me where im slacking becasue it should be fully running but for some reason it not.

If you've already made the application, you obviously didn't take into account all of the requirements. WIth the list you've provided, you're going to have to rewrite a bunch of the code, rework some of the database, and write an entirely new application (your admin tool). Noone is going to walk you through all of that. Again, if you can't do this, you're going to fail, and rightly so.

Hello All,
I am having an issue. one of my method is returning huge datatable having hundered of thousands records and then writing the data in to a csv file. Because of huge in memory data the exception 'System.OutOfMemoryException' is thrown. Please tell me any workable solution of this problem. My application is using .net2.0/SqlServer2005. Please give a solutin and if possible code like to solve the issue throgh multithreading and then combining the data and writing the csv file. Pleae help.

Thanks for your suggestion David,
It really impreoved the efficiency of my download module by using datareader inspite of datatable and now i was able to write more then 2 million records to a csv file. But still this exception is thron when the no of records exceeds like in my case 7 Millios. What else should i do.? Thanks again for your valuable suggestion that solved my 50% problem.

I have deployed my application in three systems I am able to run properly. But when I deploy same application in the other machine getting Javascript error "String was not recognized as a valid DateTime." Coming I am not able to understand why this error is coming,
But my code is working fine and Tested in three machines there also working same installer used in another machine getting error
Please help me
