That's weird.
The wizard make sure that each step proceeds from the previous step. I do not use session to cehck for this because of timeout issues, so as long as you are going from one page to the next you can take your time and it should all be good. My only guess at this stage is there was a server or network error at the time you tried to post.
There's also a known issue with linebreaks and closing tags. We're trying to be a little cleverer in our handling of line breaks, but it's not clever enough. We will fix this.

It's probably too late to do anything about it by now but the link to the article on 'tabnabbing' gave me a 'Forbidden 403' error.
I have resolved this for myself by googling for 'tabnabbing' and so do not need a functioning link.

When I change my contact email address, confirmation is not sent! Only when I try to access 'New Message' or something like that a warning is sent.I see this as a security vulnerability since as a new user I can signup for valid email first. After confirming it I can change it to something crap immediately.
Can we ensure that a confirmation email is sent immediately on email address being changed from the profile page.

A new confirmation would have been sent. Have you checked you inbox? Your Junk box? Your spam box?
As soon as you change your address your email is marked as 'unconfirmed'.

Yes Chris. Nothing came in.
However when I went to Lounge/Suggestions and then followed the link 'Send Verification Email' from the yellow inset box that email came in instantly and to inbox itself without being entrapped by any spam filters. But the one expected whilst the address was being changed never came in.

Is it possible that, due to the fact that some site users do not have English as a primary language, they simply don't understand the statement "DO NOT POST PROGRAMMING QUESTIONS HERE"?
Perhaps, since it's a negative statement, they don't make an effort to translate it? I seem to remember reading in a guide for localization that you should make imperative statements in a positive sense, because negation is tricky in some languages.
Maybe this is a stupid question, but how difficult would it be to detect the user's location or country of origin and display that single piece of text in both English and the local language?

Al that is needed is making it a user setting, maybe preload it with a good first guess, then offer the suggestion to check and correct it when the account gets created.
The one big argument against it is there would be no end to the candidate messages for bilingual display.
IMO the correct way of dealing with offenders is the community replying one extremely short message ("wrong forum"), and then ignoring it. Programming questions in non-programming forums should not result in multiple replies, and certainly not in an actual answer. Offenders need education.

That's why the uncertainty in my question. That's also why I suggested posting the notice both in English and in the user's language, if a reasonable guess can be made.

The CPOL license contains the following restriction at 5f :
You agree not to use the Work for illegal, immoral or improper purposes
I have some troubles to interpret this clause… Who defines what is immoral or improper ?
(Even "legal" is relative to where you live)
How does one know if he is breaking the license ? Are there jurisdictions defining morality / immorality ?
What about creating something that the original author did not anticipate, is this covered by improper purpose ? How does one know ?
Considering that the name of the author can't be used without his consent already, I don't understand this clause.
