Your wifi network, is usually an internal network. If you place a webserver and hook it to your internal network, it will only be available when you'r 'in the network'. So yes, this is possible.

This more a function for network admin than coding. The wireless network should be secured and only accessible by employees. If the page is on a public web server then you will need to check the http headers and only allow requests that come from your local network.

In IIS you can set IP restrictions for access to a site. Limit the access to only those IPs given out by your wireless network.

I want to edit the page with all controls loaded instead of showing in Bound Field.
While using <asp:CommandField ShowEditButton="True" />
i am able to show all values in Text boxes.
Instead i need to show in respective controls like textbox,checkboxlist,listbox and drop down.How to implement this?

I'm trying to migrate an application, written for .NET3.5, which uses many 3rd party controls to .NET4 (we are particularly interested by the new features in the EntityFramework 4 as well as the TaskParallel library).
Anyway when I do that some Reference seems to just disappear!?!
EDIT(my mistake)
Further I wonder how WPF control compiled for .NET3.5 (hence not using the System.Xaml dll) will work when loaded with the new xaml parser...
Any tip on that topic?

Listen man! The best answer will comes from the users of the system (which you have been told off by the previous thread). No matter what might be suggested by "experts" here or somewhere else, the best functionality request comes from the users, period. you may add something which you or someone else thought is cool, but the end user may not find it necessary or even worst may not use it at all.

Registration of users is required before anyone can check out or return something. Otherwise the system has no idea who checked out what.
Input and maintenance of the what is in the library's collection is required. You can't search for what isn't there.
A security model so that only certain users can do certain things. All users should be able to search, but if all users could mark a book as checked in people would mark it and just keep the book.
There are tons of other things that you would need. You should sit down and write some use cases.
