Nice simple programming What Internet Explorer makes look so easy, is really quite convoluted. Fortunately later versions include the IXMLHttpRequest interface. Don't worry about the XML in the name. It really is quite easy to use as a "standard" HTTP interface. I don't have my source code available right now, but if you're interested, I can post a sample later. However, the datagrid would be REALLY tricky on an html form. I guess the question that needs to be answered is.. Does the user do anything with the data besides look at it? There is no datagrid in HTML. If you plop it in an activex control you automatically limit your viewers to Internet Explorer, and you have to register the control. The next question is... Do you really need it dynamic, or to appear dynamic? You can have an ASP page that routes the form information to itself and displays a table with the information.
