This crops up every once in a while (most recently when I tried making this[^] post a few minutes ago. If I hit cancel and retry a few times it always eventually works so this isn't a showstopper but is rather annoying.

Can you provide a few more details? Is it the page itself, a script file, an exe - something that sends alarm bells? What's the location of the file?

Definitely weird, especially since I'm not reloading the page between attempts; just clicking the post message button again, so it's either FF3.6.3 being buggy or something being returned by the server after I click the button.
I think it was edit.aspx. I'll take more detailed notes the next time it happens.
Edit: I suppose ym employers bluecoat proxy could theoretically be to blame as well; but the only things I've seen it break on first page load of the day, or are broken every single time I try and hit a page.

On the QA section of the site, under a question the Delete and Report cross and Flag icons are shown, which is inline with other areas of the site.
However, under an answer question, the Report Flag and the word Report is shown, and also it is before the Delete action, which is shown as a word, and not the red cross........

I was just looking at some of the recent poor submissions, and after leaving some formative feedback, I noticed that there is a delete action available to me under the Tip/Trick.
I was going to remove these as they are pretty poor.
When I hover the mouse over the Delete 'cross' icon, the pointer doesn't change to a hand like it does with the other actions e.g. improve, report etc.
If I click the delete cross, nothing happens.
It looks like there is a bug here somewhere.

I have whitelisted all code project email addresses and have not gotten my daily insider in 2 weeks it is not in spam it is not coming to my mailbox at all.
I have verified my settings and I am supposed to get the newsletter and daily insider.
I think that Yahoo mail if filtering the messages out before I even receive them.
I have just changed my email on the site to go to my exchange account we will see if that helps.
I just wanted to make sure you were aware this might be an issue for other users who happen to use "YAHOOOOO mail.

Just to let you know when you sent the email it actually went to another address because I had already changed it.
I am receiving the email now though I had to approve it for the spam filter on exchange I believe it is GFI.
You may want to test a yahoo address or I can if you would like.
