More CPU cores / improved parallelism is the obvious choice because you would need it to run the command and control, as well as the targeting for the "Fricken laser beam on my head." Dr. Evil's reasoning for having such a device has convinced me as to it's practicality and usefulness for a near limitless amount of uses, especially when in an "ill tempered" frame of mind.  - BRILLIANT!

I voted for "Faster access to long-term storage" because I'm old enough to have lots stored in there but I often only manage to access it long after it's relevant.
However, I would also like better indexing of all that old information. For example, I can remember a room or some other detail of a location but I can't remember where it was (even which country) or when or why I was there.

A circuit to add large numbers instantaneously (at GHz rates) is one of the smallest and simplest circuits in a microprocessor. Yet most people can't add arbitrary three-digit numbers at 1Hz, or even two-digit numbers. Why? Because we rely on slow procedural and/or long-term memory for these tasks, and because our short-term memories are truly awful. Oh, humans. What a sad bunch we are.
I wonder how drastically society would change if we could do arbitrarily complex arithmetic instantly and effortlessly.

I have these long term aspirations but my subconscious enforces its own short term instincts/fears/temptations/needs on me. I need a unit that gives me the power to override the commands of the subconscious.
Yes. I don't want x-man powers, I don't want Jedi or Sith powers, I just want to be able to use my own powers with no interruptions.

Is there an Fdisk (Gparted) and a Format so that I can clean it up and get it on a ext4 type resilient journalling file system which does not fragment and/or cry on mundane worries.

voted for more feature-rich OS because my current best friend is the computer and VS2010 and its social circle of extensions.  We occasionally have arguments about their general slowness but we always make it though in the end.
