Then don't categorize it as "editor" (points) but "improver" (points) instead.
How is it possible to improve something unless you edit it? 
The message to the right of the page for "improving" the question says that my status enables me to "edit" or "delete" this question.

A lot of times, improvement can only be achieved via deletion, which if stretched, could be considered to be a kind of editing, but for my purposes, it's not.

Instead of edit, perhaps "Assist in bringing clarity" would be a better title. Of course you should only get 1 point for an assist.

In all seriousness, I like to edit good questions from people where English is not their first language. It helps them convey themselves to the community better and it also shows them a way to improve their English composition and communication better as well.
If I lived in another country and had to communicate with the locals, I'm sure I would be looked down upon by many people there. Seeing that this is mostly an "English" speaking site, I'm sure this can be intimidating to say the least to many people who come here for help.
I don't pay much attention to the jerk-offs who use txt speak and the one's who demand the urgenz cod plz.

I'm so over IE.
I made a change to fix a weirdness that was happening with IE8 and below. It all looked fine for everything I checked except for the comments in articles in IE9. I've rolled back the fix and will apply a fix to the fix to fix the bloody thing another way.
It all just works so seamlessly in every other browser under the sun.

When you get to a certain length of comments (not sure exactly what length) it switches to a paged view, with "page 1 of 2". If you look at page two, the only message on it is the last message of page 1... I.e. it didn't need to be two pages in the first place!
There is an example here[^] with SA's final comment on "big books" being both the last entry on page 1, and the only entry on page 2.

Sometimes, I feel to vote 2 points for an answer/question is too high (2/5) but voting only 1 point for it is too low (1/5).
I wish we could have a six scale of voting instead of a five scale of voting. If so I will choose 2 points (2/6) to vote for the answer without hesitating.
The more choices we have, the better it is!!!
