Then it would never be removed if it didn't get 5 reports. I wonder how many reposts are in the pipeline because of that rule? Interesting.
thatraja wrote: If there are no answers for that question then you may.
I did not delete because of past topics on the issue of members deleting questions that were not blatant abuse or spam.

Slacker007 wrote: I did not delete because of past topics on the issue of members deleting questions that were not blatant abuse or spam. IMO Re-posts are exception in this case. We should encourage the OP not to post duplicate questions. Generally I inform the OP about his repost by comment & report/remove the duplicate question(Only no answers there).

We watch. If it's hanging around and not being reported fully we will nuke it or clear reports if the initial reports were spurious.

Hello,
From my reputation graph, I see that someone is out on a downvoting spree, can anyone identify and stop them? I'm not bothered about losing points, but some really useful answers and posts have been downvoted.

Why is this post's subject and username struck out? I don't see it happening on other downvoted posts...
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Striking out rejected suggestions and iconing everything else is a significant UI inconsistency. Did the hamsters sneak into the liquor cabinet again while working on this?

They never sneak into the liquor cabinet. The march up to Chris and kick him in the shins until he opens the door.

I am using IE 8.0 so what I did was;
I have read the question and by clicking add solution I wrote my answer to it, but i wasnt aware of that I am not logged in. So by thinking I was logged in I went ahead and tried submitting the answer.
With a pop-up I was notified that do I want to navigate away from the page? I both tried OK and Cancel, it was stuck by processing my solution.
Instead I think we shouldn't "add a solution" to a question eitehr we have to be notified that we are not logged in like, rating the question or solution. (Sign in or up message is shown if you are not logged in.) I think something similar should be done for "Adding a solution" to button.

But rad development is all about being able to point, click, and drag your app together instead of typing code.

Sorry, 70's speak.
Rad as in radical, not RAD as in Rabid Application Development.

Yes, I'm not sure it's a bug.
One member voted for this Tip/Trick[^] but still there is no votes. His comment is below
OP wrote: Reason for my vote of 5
Nice Tips/trick.
very useful.. surely i will give try to thid tips....
Thank you!!
Generally the first line of this comment automatically generated while voting with comment. But there is no votes. And I don't think the member typed the first line Reason for my vote of 5 in his comments.

It's my article on which the vote was given. On checking my recent reputation points, i am able to see the points that was given to me on voting. But when I check this page I find no votes count here[^]. The user hasn't undone the vote either (or it would have been a minus point again). Wonder where did his vote go?

Why are these settings mutually exclusive?
When pasting:
wrap in a PRE if code detected
Encode HTML tags
Encode the html, pre the C#. Doesn't sound like it should be too hard.

The paste system gets a big overhaul tonight.
The quick answer, though, is that HTML within PRE blocks gets encoded automatically, except for B,I and U tags.
