I thought that when we have some people who forget that we have answered to their questions so how about having some people who want to transfer their scores in place of having their questions answered well.
Think of a person who is prepared to give you +500 score from his scores Big Grin | :-D

It's very tempting Wink | ;)

And it was just a proposal and in the world of companies competitions, it's not an unusual happening that a company try to offer something that already another company offered to people.
For example Yahoo provided free mail service to its users and Google proposed it to its users. Then Google provided a lot of space for free and Yahoo did too, to not be left behind.

Besides, they use a lot of filler and additives down the street at Stack Overblow and it always leaves you wanting more.

Cancelling a post.

Currently when cancelling a post a confirmation dialog is shown

"Are you sure you wish to cancel?"

(or something close to that)

This has 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons. Would it not be better if these were 'Yes' and 'No'.

yes I want to cancel the cancellation I asked for by clicking the cancel button??

and no, I don't need an "are you sure..." dialog when cancelling out of an edit message attempt when I didn't modify the message at all.

We're using the built-in javascript confirmation dialog that, alas, has no options to change the names of the buttons. The only option is to replace the confirmation dialog with a custom dialog using jQuery UI or something.Not difficult, but not, unfortunately, high on the priority list unless it's really, really bugging you or actively causing you stomach cramps.

It seems that someone went to edit it and the system have forgotten to cancel his ticket for editing.

Because the ticket error is given whenever someone requests to edit a post and at the same time another person is busy with editing that post.

Probably not - when a question is being edited, you can still read teh currect content: you just get a message at teh bottom of the question saying "this question is locked for editing by ANOtherUser"

This question will not open at all, and seems to be a database problem, or a major HTML error in the question itself.

An interesting bug.

We were using

Regex.Replace(result, @"(\&nbsp\;|\s)*(\<\/.*\>)?(\&nbsp\;|\s)*$", "$2");

to trim the HTML string. The reg ex was timing out. A small changed solved the issue:

Regex.Replace(result, @"(\&nbsp\;|\s)*(\<\/.*\>)?(\&nbsp\;|\s)*$", "$2",
                      RegexOptions.Multiline | RegexOptions.IgnoreCase);

The new code will be released after lunch.

Hello All ,

My suggestion is to change location of "Rate this message" option from bottom to top of message.
It is fine if we are reading first or middle one message but if we are on last message of the page then
this option come very nearer to the "Page number" option.

It may happen that some one click "Rate 4" instead of clicking "Page 4" actually he want to go on page 4 not rate the message by 4.

Hope this clarify the suggestion
