Dear Chris,
Is there a way we can disable the preview of the message as you type OrElse we can leave it to the preference of the user OrElse we can keep a button near 'Post Message'?

Yes, you can disable that.
Go to Settings -> Forums Tab -> Un-check Show a live message preview as you type (not available < IE9) -> Save my settings

How about hiding it as a code comment, Chris? Because it may be an internal detail for the page and we need not have others to know about it right?
Just my two cents and anyway it does not harm as long as nothing confidential about the web server is left out inadvertently.

A version number is essential information to the users; if it were me I'd put it in the header, not the footer.
As a user I tend to retest (and update if necessary) my bug reports when a new software version appears, although I must admit I stopped doing that with CP as the list has grown way too long.

That's by design. The page is viewed using SSL so we keep that page lean. It also means we don't have to stuff about providing absolute (http://) links to pop you out of SSL mode.

Chrome on my Android tablet doesn't recognize cookies and won't allow me to login to CP.
Failure is not an option; it's the default selection.

I noticed the same thing a couple of days ago on my Nexus. Checked the settings etc. All fine......still not working

FYI, my Ubuntu netbook stopped accepting cookies a month ago for CP only, for some reason. I tried everything, but I gave up and switched to my laptop.

Same problem here.
Cookies does work! It remembers the page settings. It just fails to detect the browser has cookie capabilities I suspect.

I grabbed a Galaxy Tab 7 Plus (Gingerbread) and it's working perfectly for me.
I have my issues with Apple, but they are SO much easier to target than Android.

You need ice cream sandwich to get the chrome browser. The default browser, and Dolphin, work fine but Chrome doesn't accept the cookie for CP. Other sites it does though. Let me know if I can help.

I've found the Android software (base OS, pre-installed and downloaded apps) to be very flaky. I'm not even certain Samsung will be providing an update of the Tab 7 Plus to ICS.
The fragmentation of Android, and the inability to simply update your device to the latest version will be the downfall if not addressed. It seems to go agains everything that Android once stood for.

Hello.
I want to publish an article.
I checked the Work in Progress checkbox.
Later, I unchecked it and clicked publish etc.
But every time I view my articles I see:
"This is an unfinished article"
What can I do

Your article was reported by members as Unfinished or Incomplete. I've cleaned out the reports and re-submitted your article. Should be good now.
