Hi
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this kind of question.
I am having problem to setup "Download link" (Zip file), I couldn't set it up right in my article (Update it). I have set it up again but not sure if that will work. Is this a bug or not ? Or may be I was set it up in wrong way ?

What do you mean by "setup the download link"? You mean you're having problems uploading, or problems inserting a link into your article? Point me to the article and I'll take a look.

Oh, I am really sorry, this is my mistake, it seems now work as I expected (my second articles: Simple URB (USB Request Block) Monitor). The problem is I couldn't create a download link for the zip file I uploaded (upload file is just fine). But now it work.
I'll go check and fix it to the other one.

My "drag scrollbar" finger, and my press "down arrow" finger, are getting cramps from scrolling past all the recent comments deleted from one recent Lounge poster, and their copious reply-comments, and then having to click to get to the next Lounge page only to find more scrolling required.
Could it be possible to have a little "graphic hickey" appear on the "page with folded top-left corner icon of whatever flavor" of a thread-start Lounge post that would collapse the whole damn thing and all subsequent discussion ?
Or an option to hide "removed threads and all comments" on a UI wide basis ?
By the way, I find myself puzzled by the variety of the thread and comments "page with top-left corner folded" icons: some have a kind of "document like" icon, some have an icon with a "smiley" overlayed, but I can see no pattern in how these icons are related to either votes on the thread-start or comments, or any internal comment. Clicking on any of them does nothing special: normally if I see a "variant icon" I expect a click to to trigger something.
I am sure Luc Patyn will respond to this shortly kindly explaining to me how I have, again, missed understanding a CP basic feature; so, thanks in advance Luc !

Those icons relate to the message type selected when you create a message, so the smiley, for instance, is the joke icon. You can select these types from the list of radio buttons above the title when you create or edit the message.

I haven't seen anything like this, but I think it would be useful.

Hi Bill, I'm afraid I can't improve on Pete's answer, and sorry for the delay, as I was out for the day; first of May is a one-day tournament I don't wanna miss. Anyway, happy scrolling.
PS: I have chosen the "Answer" icon here, and FYI
1. I don't always agree with the default message type CP offers
2. the message type has impact on the rep points one gets
3. the message type can be changed afterwards, however the rep stuff seems to ignore that.

So essentially you're after a "collapse thread" (or just "hide thread") button?
(and the meanings of the message type icons are shown at the bottom of the forums)

Well ,In fact it would be better if it contains key words like:
InTitle:"Understanding SynchronizationContext: Part II"
to find this article:
Understanding SynchronizationContext: Part II[^]
and query for [Understanding SynchronizationContext: Part II] resulted this :
this[^]

I just typed in "Understanding SynchronizationContext: Part II" (including the quotes), and got the article back that I would expect. What am I missing?

Every time when I press F5 page get refreshed and getting new values of the views count.
Here is the sequence.
9420,9427,9418,9419,9440
It is not always that views count gets increased.

If you notice at the bottom left of the page, there is something like: 'Web2','Web3','Web4', etc. These are various code project servers from where the response of the current page was received.
Every time you refresh, different servers might be returning the result. All the servers are not always in sync. Hence different values.

Hi Site Admins,
Just now I noticed that, you have added "FB" and "G+" as the alternate login method in CP. That's really great but you forgot to include Twitter and OpenID there. Are you going to plan those in near future?
BTW, what will happen when I already logged-in and want to add those accounts in CP, so that, I can login directly here using any of the account. There should be some option in the profile page.

Unfortunately I can't find anything that sticks out. Any idea what you were doing when it changed? Between pageviews or logins?

1. Generally, I keep my CP logged in all the time.
2. This was what I tried: I went into settings, changed it to Paste as HTML, saved it.
3. Went to Q&A - looked at few questions. Answered few.
4. Found my paste is again being encoded. Checked and found that my settings are back to default first option of paste.
I just repeated step 2, 3 and found step 4! 
PS: I am on Firefox 11. Did Cntrl+F5 few times. Also, logged out and logged in last time when I did the change.

Before it was hit and miss situation in IE 8 and Chrome (“high load” error most of the time).

Great. However, we're going to revamp it entirely because it's still not as fast and stable as we want, and still prone to load issues.

Just tried to post a response in The Lounge and I got this message.
Now, I admit that I had used gotten in that response but shirley you have not 'improved' the naughty words filter to that extent!
Incidentally I am unable to cancel the unposted message.
The message I was trying to reply to had been deleted which was the cause of the difficulty.
However the inability to cancel would seem to me to be a bug(ish)
