You forgot to mention it's a compiler error! Wink | ;)

mm... KeyValuePair is a value type!
the 'as' operator doesn't work with value type, because
'obj as type' evaluate as null is obj is not of type type, which is not possible with value type (they can't be null!)

scrap the 'as' too bad, try

.FirstOrDefault();
