Requirement for "Articles needing approval"? i0013-Jan-13 19:42 i00 13-Jan-13 19:42  Is there some requirement to be able to view the "Articles needing approval" section (besides being signed in)? People above certain reputation only can view and vote for an article to be published. Further, it takes 5 votes for an article to get approved. I wrote few technical blogs and Tip/Tricks. What I noticed is, Technical blog viewing priority is higher than Tip/Trick. There are a number of factors that go into Relevance sorting. Popularity is a big factor, but not the only one. Where an item shows up is a case really on a by case basis, but Tips and Tricks should be slightly weighted higher than Technical Blog entries. Currently we are not showing views for Tips and Tricks. E.g. see How to reverese a string in C#/.NET with almost one line of code using P/Invoke[^]. I have initially voted for 3, but this is not shown, even my comment "My vote of 3" is present in the thread. I then do again my edit in response to the peer comment and submit it again. After that, I found my article shows as "Pending" in the Revision page; while it still shows "Closed" when I open the article in edit mode again. The href is 'sourcecode' but it must be the path and name of the zip file. You may correct it yourself if you know the path or ask one of the editors here to do it for you. At least in FF17, is it only for me? I just lost a half-written article draft which was auto-saved a number of times and also saved forcefully by myself click the save button. So I started the article over. Put some text. Clicked save. Opened a draft and observed empty article template. But then accidentally clicked the Back button (actually pressed the Backspace keyboard button in Firefox). When I returned to the article draft via account menu it was blanked out: currently it is in the article empty template state! Like I wasn't writing and saving at all.
