It is a tricky thing. They had some scripts running to handle forum spam a couple of months ago, but I don't know why they are not using them anymore. Scroll down to see reply from Chris[^]

I would never pay attention, but the "questions" posted by that person was also a kind of "spam", the re-posted "gimme code" non-questions which I had to remove.
Spam or not, but this is a kind of misuse of the public resource.

My guess is that he has done so with no intention of any kind. Just didn't know what to write in his profile, so he cut and pasted his resume. I sent him a private email, and I believe he will fix that.

It takes multiple people to spam close an account. How many people did you upset?

Not to my knowledge, there was someone who got a bit heated over my comments about Windows 8 (with a survey on touch screens), but I never found any that were actual spam related incidents.
