I want to override window.close native function to perform my own operation before window close. Window.close overriding is not working in IE-10 and IE-9 in Standard mode without compatibility mode. Window.close overriding working in compatibilty mode.

Only one way
function close is a pre-defined property of window object.
Please use event bubbling of close() and window. Insert a new funktion that recives this event what you want (event handler).

I guess you would have used anchors <a href="#">Link</a> in accordions to open the panel. This is making your page to jump to top. The solution can be in different ways. You can write like
<a href="javascript:void(0)">Link</a>
Or, you can remove the href and keep the <a> only, but in this case you need to set different styles which are default to anchor tags explicitely.
Or, you can use event.preventDefault() inside the handler for that link.
I hope I am making a right guess.

I have an html form that has a group of checkboxes that I need to have narrate, in an html textbox, the values of the checkboxes checked and in the order they were checked.
Currently the output to the html textbox with id=dxbox is the order in which the checkboxes are written in the html code and not the order in which they are checked.
I greatly appreciate anyone's help with this.
