It most certainly is. Whichever one of you submits the article needs to add the membership details of the other author to the project.

Yes! At the Article Submission Wizard, you see "By Author (add more)" under the title of your article. Click on the "(add more)" link, and add the member id of your friend to the text box. Save the article, and then you've both the privilege to edit the article.

To get the member id, go to the profile page, and above the profile image, you see "Member No. <member id>"

The quick red ProgramFOX jumps right over the Lazy<Dog>.

If you read this[^] article, you should get an idea as to what a tip is. From this, you should be able to work out what you need to change to make your work an article. As I don't have a link to your tip, I can't comment with any more detail than that.

Hi Durgesh,

Your post would be considered a Tip because it is a brief, straightforward, step-by-step "how to." And I don't think you should change it, it's fine just the way it is.

I have submitted an article,

i have also added the source and executable files in the zip format, and even named them accordingly.

but i am not able to see the, with the article,

am i doing something wrong ? D'Oh! | :doh:

what is the proper way to attach source code zip files with the article.

After uploading the files, select the zip files which you want to add to your article, and then click on the "Add selected zip files to article" link to add a link to the download file.

I just looked at the following article: Learning MVC - Part 1: Introduction to MVC Architecture and Separation of Concerns[^]

The first part doesn't really teach you anything other than what wikipedia says. All the other parts are also on his own blog, so it's more like he is using CodeProject to drive traffic to his blog.

I'm wondering why it got accepted?

That's not what I'm saying.

1. Only part one is available at codeproject.
2. The first part itself is imho too short to be considered as an article

But if that's allowed I would love to short down my articles into "Parts" and put all but part one in my own blog. Great for my traffic, but not so great for codeproject.

The thing is - the other parts are available here. The author should be pointing to the CP versions, but he's not point to them in the initial entry. I've mentioned that to him.

I'm thinking about writing an article for how to make a chrome app and another article on how to make a chrome extension, so I was wondering, if there is already some on this site, coz if there is there is not really a point of writing one is there?

I don't recall seeing any articles about Chrome apps, but there are some articles about Chrome extensions. I have provided a short list below, but you should really browse around for yourself.
I am pretty sure everyone will tell you to write an article if you feel you can make a good contribution.

That really depends. If you bring something new to the table, or if the existing ones are of poor quality then there's always room for new articles.
