It is the constructor code for a CartItem object, although the if clause would seem redundant, as those two items would (presumably) always need to be set in the constructor. I'm not quite sure why a CartItem would hold a List of Cart objects, but no doubt there is a good reason.

I'm working on trying to make my website for multiple languages.
Based on my reading I am looking at creating a LocalizedText.resx file as the fall-back language (English) when it doesn't detect.
Anyways I have to work on replacing all the text to read from this file (or the other languages files).
The documentation says use <%$ Resources:LocalizedText, <mykey> %> but the problem is you can't just put them on a page. You have to use the Text= within a control or Literal.
Can I not just do <%= Resources.LocalizedText.mykey %> instead? I would hate to replace ALL text with a control... wouldn't that just increase the viewstate on the page?

Why not try it and see if it works?
With regards ViewState, you can set
EnableViewState="false"
either for an individual control, or at the page level if you can get away with that.

Hello everybody,i've a problem like this. :((
i have a form sign up with more 100 field input,
i don't wana save all them with tradition method,
i wana save all them like CTRL + S in browsers, by the way,i'll have all data that users push in my fields.
How can i get it? Please help me.

First you have to disable Ctrl + S Shortcut so that the browser does not try to save the html page,
Add a button and set the style property to "display:none", then you can trigger the button using jquery.
Here is an example of how to disable the shortcut and trigger the button: (did not try this myself, but you get the idea)

i have developed a online examination application in asp.net but i faced trouble in examination part when user give exam and then he pressed next button for next question then next question come too late...
in this past i stored all question in datatable from database on page load and then show them one by one and its run very well on local host but on server its run too slow and i don't know to show question with another way so plz help me to solve this problem...

If you are reading directly from the database everytime, try optimizing your database query.
On the web page side, the problem could be anything from long running loops to network speeds.

Get All data at once in List<object> and display question one by one.
And
if page is using heavy controls then use jquery/Ajax to update just Questions.this will not invoke postback and your execution time can be reduced.

Hi,All
It's my first time to use ajax.net(AJAX Extensions).
I just convert my project from .NET 1.0 to .NET 3.5.This project not used to have updatepanel.
My condition is on button1 click refresh data in updatepanel1 on my project.Then I've try to use Updatepanel to make it but it still post back all of page.
I've to use this code with new create project and it's work.I do not understand why it does not work the same.
