I dare say there is similar Kosher bacon. I ate this stuff when I was over in the middle east, it tastes exactly like what it is: processed beef flavoured with the same stuff they put on bacon flavoured crisps.
Now here is the question: how would people keeping halal (or Kosher) acquire the taste for haram (or non-kosher) meat.

I signed petitions against that too. Equally disgusting and cruel. But it's not fair to blame that one on Denmark. Even though the Faroe Islands do belong to Denmark, they are self-governing, and it's the Faroe parlament that is to blame for not taking action against that!

It's quite ironic that they are claiming that this is anti-semitism, because it's their own belief (that one species has the God-given right to torture and kill another species) that was applied by Hitler against them!
