Hi to all.This Is Lakshmi Dhivya,Iam doing my Engineering on Information Technology(IT),and I have decided to make an editor with all possible formatting options.
I have selected vb.net as a programming language for my project.
I have started designing the Rich Text editor,but Iam unable to change the font size alone with different font text selected.I have added a font comobox and a size combobox,but i need to change font alone and size alone with different font text selected.
I request help from You all to finish my project

You have not really explained what the problem is. If you select a new font from the font combo then the current font size should be used. And if you select a new height then the current font should be used. Alternatively you could use the FontDialog class[^].

You have to create a new Font object, based on the previous font object, with the new FontSize. That's the bad thing with Fonts: they are immutable, and changing a property of a font can only be done be creating a new one with the different property.

I have found that in wordpad if you select a text content typed in different fonts the font combobox will not show any font and if you change the size, only the size of the selected text changes and not the fonts.
How To do this.
This Is my Problem,I think i have told the exact problem.

Bernhard has explained what you need to do. Remember, what you see on the menu of Wordpad does not tell you what is happening internally. Every time you want to display characters in a particular font then you need to create a new one, even if you are only changing the size.

That means that you have to split the selection into regions with the same font, and then apply the method described above for each section individually.

Friends I tried out finding some of the system information
I found out whether it is 32 bit or 64 bit ,cpu name, physical memory,usermame and systemname.
my antivirus blocked it and asking me to provide unlimited access
i gave unlimited access and it shows the information.If i give limited acces the application is not providing the information only empty labels being displayed.
I am using "COMODO" antivirus.
I thought of providing "Full Trusted" to my application through code but i was not able to do so.give me some help

You can set the properties to "Run as Administrator", but this will still need to be confirmed by the user when the program runs.

Even if i use run as administrator my anti virus asks for confirmation.I would like to make my application as a Full trusted apllication so that the anti virus may not block it up.

It's Windows that asks for confirmation, and will continue to do so. This ensures that the user can verify each application that requires full privileged operation.

As Pete has already mentioned, the order doesn't really matter. Behind the scenes, they're two different methods, anyway.
On top of it, you can have a get without a set (read-only property) and a set without a get (write-only property). And the access modifiers for the get and set can be different. For example, the get could be public and the set could be private.

MSIL Is Microsoft Intermediate Language. It's what the .NET compilers compiler your code into. This is code that is processor agnostic and cannot be executed by an actual CPU.
JIT is a Just-In-Time compiler which translate MSIL into the native code the CPU is going to run.
This could have been easily found if you just Googled for "What is MSIL in .NET" and "What is JIT in .NET".

Hello, in applications C# winform .net 4.5, I try to use webcams integrated on tablets Lenovo Thinkpad 2 (under Windows 8.1)
but it does not work...
Webcams are identified but either they do not connect, or the resolution is very bad while the classic webcam USB works perfectly.
Webcams on my tablet are OV2720 and OV8830, there is also one " Intel imaging processor 2300". I tested all that I found on webcams, unsuccessfully...
If somebody has an idea....
