Thanks Chris now I have to get extra food, lodging of some kind (can't just let em run amok) and extra stops for nature calls.
I think it would be easier to hire someone to distract them while I make a mad dash.

I've been married twice so I know how to keep credit cards out of the reach of untrusted hands, but thanks for the heads up.

Have a great trip Mike. I used to go on roadtrips quite often, but not much in the past 4-5 years.
I know you were asking for suggestions for sights along I10 and someone mentioned Carlsbad Caverns[^] - I second that.
With you and your brother being from Arizona, I probably cannot provide better suggestions for your immediate area, but I just love Arches NP[^] in Utah and the whole area around Moab. The weather is on the cool side right now (I don't know if there is still snow in the area), which might not be a bad time to visit.
Bryce Canyon[^] has some awesome views, but it's at altitude, so there could be quite a bit of snow.
Have fun

I plan on stopping at Carlsbad on the way out.
My brother wanted me to come a month earlier because of the heat but I put it off til now because I want to spend the last week of April up in S. Utah at the parks, I'm hoping the weather will be a little more agreeable by then but I have a down sleeping bag if it doesn't.
Thanks I'm hoping it will be very memorable and I'll have my D7000[^] with me a 4 32GB cards so plan on taking a butt load of photos.

That's what I was looking for. I know very little Spanish and that from many years ago.

The answer is FOUR LETTER WORDS

Hi All
My Winge at management / clients continues, the client thinks I have been "downloading porn on his time, not getting on with the software", While I have not! The Boss gave me the Well get this bit going it will keep 'him' happy. I now have the Boss confused because the simple thing to do (and it is simple) will not work, I have demonstrated to him and he is now confused too

Doesn't sound like a solution then.
glennPattonWork wrote: I have demonstrated to him and he is now confused too
I would be confused if you showed me something that does not work also.
If you hold off and deliver the finished product in the end they get frustrated about why it is taking so long to get any results.
I've found that breaking the task down into small incremental units works best, if this is possible. Then you can deliver these small increments in small timeframes and everyone gets a warm and fuzzy feeling because they see progress taking place.

If the hardware isn't stable then you will never get anything to work consistantly.

Time to start looking for another job.
