I'm not sure it is spam: the OP is based in SA, while the company the link takes you to is US based, so it's not obvious he is related to it, particularly since his other posts don't seem to be spammy.

I'd let it go, myself.

You'll find it in the dictionary, between sympathomimetic and sympatric

I would say it could be considered spam, but I don't think he has done it to take any profit. For me it seems a legitime curiosity question, with a link to shortly explain what he means.
