There are calls on the Welsh Assembly that Wales should get any rights they offer to Scotland as inducements for you to stay.
But Wales isn't ready for independence yet: the damage done during Thatcher Years is still not healed.

What I don't understand is why Scotland has to vote on independence. Why can't they just have a revolution we can watch on prime time, like the rest world does?

The poor Scots, as you know from watching movies made by idiotic Americans, live in mud and have their women stolen from them by evil English kings, but, far worse than that, they are subjected to prime-time BBC shows on Saturdays.
They want independence so they can make their own show: "Strictly Nothing is Worn under the Kilt".

Hey, it's only been four months[^] since that one was posted! You're supposed to wait at least six months. 
It was first posted to the Lounge in July 2001. It's so old, links to the first copies in the Lounge don't work, and it even pre-dates Leslie!
