An encrypted file somewhere
|
|
|
|
|
It keeps all the passwords in one file/hide/encrypt and it's easily portable across devices. Off course, it needs it's own password as well.

Hello,
Is keepass[^] strong enough to store all of my password ?

Turns out, you can forget these too.

I use that on my tablet, as it's much more convenient than my typed password.
However, I have noticed that even if I ignore the fact that someone could easily watch me motion to draw my password on the screen, my fingerprints clearly show the gestures that I used to unlock my device.
Just another example of the trade-offs we choose to make between security and convenience.

Keepass with long ass password I have memorised, then every other password is a 256 bit hex key stored in keepass (apart from Microsoft and a few others who impose password length restrictions), and I sync it to my other devices with dropbox.
Seems to work!

I know guys at work who doesn't remember their passwords at all... But I must say, I like there style: Put in some ridicules password and forget it, keep your pc on, every time pc's power goes off for some reason, ask IT to reset and start over again... (P.S. PC should not be accessible by public)

Good! (y) What if you get some throat problems? Waiting for 3 - 5 days would be obvious.

The method I personally use is missing:
"Try to remember, fail to remember, reset password on every login"

So you just Google for it whenever you forget it?

With a little luck I'll even find the stuff I needed my password for in the first place!

man, websites should disable their "Forgot Password" link for your IP. Could save some bandwidth.
