I find this discussion disturbing because I think it loses the focus on "member behavior" and degenerates into negative statements, and inferences, about the "character" of one CodeProject member.
I will repeat here (an excerpt from) what I said in my response to the OP of the linked-to thread on "Spam and Abuse Watch:"
To the extent we, all, can recognize the humanity behind the "screen name," be aware of cultural differences in discourse (especially for those who are not native English speakers), and avoid inferring character from behavior on-line and personally reacting as if others are making ad hominem arguments, or attacks ... well, what more can we do ?It never was, or will be, "perfect," but it is very, very good ... here on CodeProject :) It is almost certain I will fail to live up to this myself, frequently.

That's part of what dark matter has always been (except that there is no space without light); it's just matter that we can't/don't see.

Actors are usually very intelligent. Not so much about tech details in this instance, but in human nature details. Well enough to portray another person. Not everyone can do it.

"Moron" is what we call the "talent" when they're not around; it's just an industry term.
I hear that chefs call waiting staff "the morons", too, since Lenny Henry popularised the term (he's a comedian, not an actor, so he actually has a brain).

Well, you know damned fine that "the talent" will jump at bitching about you behind your back, if they think it will give them even the most ridiculously small advantage or the tiniest bit of cred, so we just use the word we feel is right when we don't have to worry about them having a tizzy and screwing their lines.
That said, there are some bloody nice and smart people in acting, but the culture doesn't make it easy for them to stay that way -- e.g. it's typical for even the nicest of guys to end up believing that everyone in the world is a backstabbing b*st*rd who wants to steal his lines/roles/glory.
