I had only a look at the linked article.
He gave the links to the copied material in the Reference section with additional explanations about the code.
I would let pass the article if the sources are more clearly indicated and required information is present (licenses). For the code blocks this may be comments on top like 'This is from xxx' and 'This is based on xxx' and adding specific license information (the Google sources are under the MIT license which does not correspond to the CPOL for the article). For cited text this may be headers 'xxx guide:' or footers like 'Source: xxx').
I suggest to request the author to add the necessary information and report as plagiarised if he will not do so (he violates at least the MIT license).

I have to completely disagree on what you say about the article content. It is very sad that you are mentioning this without reading my articles.

How arrogant you are ? You will face the consequences of dis-respecting CP Authors.
If you are not aware, those articles including Beginners Guide Series HTML5/CSS3, Android etc are selected by CodeProject including judges who have completely reviewed all submissions.
I have to report to CodeProject on this regard in false allegation. All those article references which includes the links to the resources which I had inspired and few open source code samples were reused. Go ahead and review all my submissions than judging my abilities in publishing articles.

I came here to report the same. Why is misuse of tags not considered as an Abuse?
This article is now appearing in the Survey for 'Best Mobile Article of October 2014'. So, an article that has nothing to do with Mobile platforms is appearing in the Survey without abusing the system?

Abusive langauge or abusive behaviour comes under 'Abuse' category. We see tons of content wrongly tagged, that is not at all an Abuse.

So what? You already mentioned that its in no way related to Mobile, than ignore it. Its that simple. If you still have some issues, Report it at http://www.codeproject.com/Forums/1641/Article-Writing.aspx[^]. Some one will help you out there.

He had changed it to a tip for approvement. But then I wrote him that it should be better a blog and it appeared again in the article queue. We should give him some time to manage this.

I'm not suggesting we should kick him, but this is already published as an article - and it plainly isn't!.
As a tip, it's fine. As an article, it's an insult to thousands of hard working people!

If you look at the article history[^] you will see that the initial version was a blog.
Maybe some people hit the approve link without deeper checking for updated articles. So it may happen that such is approved when the type has been changed inadvertently.

I suspect, now a days Articles are getting approved (By some of the Members) by seeing height of the scroll bar...
