Just refresh the page with F5 - they will probably reappear. Happens to me from time to time when CP is busy.

Sorry - we had an outage due to a database schema update. One of those small things that shouldn't have really caused anything untoward, but it was more of a load than anticipated.
Another outage in about 30 secs to finish it off.
cheers

Where's the right forum for MS Project questions?
Quick Answers[^] would be fine. I don't think there is a dedicated forum to Project.
There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

No, but there should be a generic one for Office.
Why?
It's a suite: Word questions don't fit well with Excel, and neither fit well with Access (mind you, neither does anything else)
And teh existance of a dedicated forum would mean it filling up with idiots asking "how do I get the stupid ribbon to give me bold?" and similar user-type questions. Do we want to answer "HOW DO I TURN OFF UPPERCASE IN WORD? URGTZ! ND CODZZZZ!!!" type questions?

No no Griff, the questions would be like,
"Hi experts, I wanted to know if I could bold the letters in Microsoft Word. I used a method, to say "Bold my letters" and it didn't work, I want to know if we can even bold the letters in Word".
Worst would be the typographical errors!

Nothing fits in Quick Answers. Word and Excel may be dissimilar, but the ribbon's quite similar all across, as are other menu commands. Putting them all in one forum may reduce the MS Office clutter or it may not, but it would leave the Quick Answer page to the truly miscellaneous questions that people submit.
As for the ribbon per se, the most questions came when it was brand new and cluttered the Lounge since almost everybody (minus me) hated it and had no clue how to navigate it. That doesn't happen often, but when it does, the Lounge seems to be the usual hurling page in any case.

And how is that different than any other forum?

Most of the forums are better than that - probably because they are more difficult to find and the morons that post questions like that aren't going to work that hard - it's QA where the real mouth breathers end up...
