I'd second third Audacity - it's not the most obvious UI in the world, but it does the job (with the help of Mrs Google).

Audacity from me too - I use it regularly for snipping bits for charity quizzes - excellent tool.

Stupid Question Of The Day
What´s wrong with the volume button? I know this is tedious, but my guess is that you want to "normalize" the volume accross mp3´s? In that case you´re in for one hell of a job to get all songs fixed.
If it´s crossfading between songs you want try a DJ program like Virtual DJ[^] which I found fun to work with. Chances are the application can even normalize the volume for you...
Hope this helps.

You mean lower the volume for speaking parts?
If so, not necessaily a good idea to pre-duck it. You really can't anticipate when it would be needed...pauses for applause, missed cues, temporary actor blanking will totally mess things up.
(I was the "sound engineer" on too many plays to trust actors.)

It /shouldn't/ be a problem. There's a silly intro mime of getting ready with the music full on, then it fades down and that's the prompt to start actificating.

Well, I'm sure you'll have a dress rehearsal, too, so....ok. Yeah, Audacity would be the simplest solution.

+1 for Audacity, I use it for ripping vinyl, cassettes, etc.
But, if I recall correctly, you have to get the MP3 DLL separately.

So after browsing review sites, and going into shops in the last couple of months (!), I finally settle for a ue55h6400 by Samsung[^] for €770.
They are currently making a lot of fuss about UltraHD (aka "4K"), but this is waaaaay too early IMO, as the sources are mostly lacking (FullHD is hardly a standard on French TV, so they haven't started to talk about UHD yet) and the downsizing algorithm terrible (who knew this would be so complicated to SW duplicate pixels?) so there is absolutely no point in investing in that technology for the moment.
The OLED technology looks great, but $3000 for a TV is definitely not worth it (especially with kids playing soccer in the living-room ).
The only drawback of the Samsung above is the edge LED lighting instead of direct LED, but then, it is not as if I would spend a lot of time in front of the TV. For the record, my old TV was a 40" CRC Thomson from ... 2003 and it is still working flawlessly. No fix required in 10years+, not sure the new one will hold that long...

I have 3 samsung's, one is even located in the bathroom (something the tv wasn't made for), 1 I use all the time (mostly as a pc screen but...) and 1 I almost never use.
All are between 6 (= the one I use all the time) and 4 years old and none have failed me yet (granted the one in the bathroom does seem to not like it, some weird nose comming from it when I turn it on but it still works so...)
So you might get that 10years out off it aswell
I'v always been happy with samsung tv's / screens (but only for that tho )

To watch of course
Kidding aside.
I have a lower back injury (and neck injury) so I bought a bath with jets.
But I get bored extremely fast (really fast, 1 min of not doing anything and I'm bored out of my mind) so when I take a bath I watch a movie and that way I can stand sitting there for an hour or more (depending on the length of the movie), otherwise the maximum I would last is about 5 min and that doesn't do me any good and is just a waste of water and energy to heat the water.
And before anyone asks, yes it helps with the back pains (not the neck tho but...).

I'd use one as a monitor right now, to replace my three 1920x1200 monitors, if only my daily driver machine could output 4K. Other than that, yeah, I'm not really interested in any "content".

There is actually a big I in "Team", at the beginning, with massive shoulders, preventing this big horizontal block to fall on the rest of the "EAM".

Wasn't it threatening the rest of the "EAM" with the massive block?

That would be the more experienced version.
