In the news of late there has been talk of a coming Bourbon shortage. This strategy not only keeps the British supply intact but you'll be attacking the French supply, thereby weakening the French government. The resulting chaos will cause the French to move their remaining Bourbon reserves off shore, likely to the UK, until such time as the rioting settles down, thereby strengthening the British supply. By the time the smoke clears the Bourbon reserves may be normalized in the markets.
