Yo mama so fat she uses printf
I don't always printf
but when I do
I print "f"
Which is a subset of C++.
Well, sure. But if some geezer is going to go on a MS site and waffle about printf he needs to be accurate. Incidentally, gcc natively does c. Typically I've had to add g++ for c++, so they are distinct.

I prefer the one just sitting on the Armco: "oh heck, how do I explain this to Lord Vader?"
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Don't you mean "Mr Stevens?"
Life is like a s**t sandwich; the more bread you have, the less s**t you eat.

Possibly "Mr Lucas", or even "Mr Abrams".
Or even "Mr Disney" via a ouija board?

Apparently Lord Vader is Mr Stevens, his secret identity was exposed by a canteen worker: clickety[^]

Best thing is, that he has a reflective vest. Looks hilarious!

Supposed to be advertising?
Since when does Star Wars need advertising?
Feh.
It's just boys playing with toys.

Now that was cool.

What technological news did you find exciting or interesting in 2014? What developments would you like to see in 2015?
I found the news relating to the .NET Framework moving to open-source really interesting. I'm expecting to see a closer partnership between Xamarin and Microsoft in 2015 and wouldn't be at all surprised if Microsoft acquired Xamarin.

I have to agree with Nagy that most of is sucked, but my vote falls on CP making the [selected] text highlight orange. That was rather nifty!

Angular. It was the first pick for me this year.

I'm still not sure about Angular. I've read around it and had a play with it, but can't fathom where or why I would use it. Maybe you can help with that?

Well I can't teach you angular here over the lounge.
But it has provided 3 fundamentals to web developer we were desperately looking for: Automated Data Binding, Declarative Syntax for controls/tags and loosely coupled architecture.
In addition to that, it has many more awesome features. Jump in to youtube and watch some Angular related videos to rejuvenate yourself.

I wasn't looking for a tutorial on Angular as there are already plenty of them on here. I just can't see why or where I would use it.
