I think I will stay inside today, it is chilly, windy and wet out there. Looking across the helideck via the CCTV it doesn't look very pleasant, and the forecast isn't too great for the day.

Yup there are definite benefits to living in Singapore, it got down to 25 overnight, decidedly cool. The pool this morning was almost chilly. As I sit here I here Mother calling (bloody great thunderstorm brewing) so I will also be staying inside for the time being.

Only on Linux while editing system files (and I try not to touch anything... you know... if it works...).
I've got my windows editing covered with Notepad++...

Anyway NP++ works like charm, fast, reliable, rich on features...

I use it to view logfiles. and there are occasionally some that are a bit larger. And the more issues there are the more entries that logfile gets... so I had to resort to writing a small tool to split files into smaller parts (I googled for some but the first 1 or 2 I found needed around 10 Minutes for a 100MB file, while my tool was able to split that file in a matter of seconds...)
