Yeah, because since you're running under Linux, you can't do anything real.

After totally dropping FB (well, the acct is still there, so, more like 'separation', and I 'unfriended', 'unfollowed' and 'unLIKEd' everyone, every page, every whatever), I'm totally bored in the mornings and evenings, and I'm not as 'riled' up about "issues of the nano-second".

This is my biggest peeve with marketing analytics, and the reason I opt out or block every chance I get. It's not because I don't want "relevant ads". It's because I'm tired of advertisers thinking relevant=="regurgitate what I've already bought".

Yep, I would more than welcome real relevant ads as I often just don't know what would make a good fit with my last purchase. But it isn't going to happen unless some even more intrusive scanning of my web activity / emails / other communication.
As for now I know I need only one set of winter tires, but how does that ad service know I already bought them? I maybe I'm still browsing?
Why it's still showing me everywhere winter tires of every possible type and size? I just won't do any good. But show me some snow shovels and who knows?
