You're not thinking clearly. Call the method behind the menu item (click event handler?), not the item itself.

If you have a layered architecture, including an API layer, you would call the API, not the UI.

Thank goodness it was in Tennessee.
I thought you were referring to Europe's answer to an Alabama trailer park.

Only trouble is, the kid no one likes is going to win it all in the first game...

Watched a video this morning of how some beasts (Boko Haram) slaughtered men one after the other (after making then line up; I can't even TRY sharing the video here). It also happened years ago during the reign of Hitler but I thought men should have gotten wiser.
Why do we let some mentally insane idiots dazzle religion in front of us and we go haywire (all for their own gain)? What a wicked world we live in.

Have to agree with megaadam - this is a topic that is likely to generate swearwords and high feelings, and is more suitable for the soapbox.

I doubt people have really changed that much in the last 20,000 years - our technology is better but we're still fundamentally the same creature.
It is comforting to think that "times have changed" or "we're more civilised now" though isn't it, even if it's not really true?

A few companies up here in New York have followed suit, as well. They laid off half their software engineers, and flew in some engineers from India to replace them. I have been told
that it is much, much cheaper to do it that way.
Personally, I think it sad and disgraceful but there is not much anyone can do about it. The price we pay for the way we live.
