I like the auto pull feature for blog feeds, but its actually pulling all articles, not only those that say "codeproject" as a keyword/tag
did I miss something? or is it actually a bug?
so for the moment I can't blog about my cat  unless you guys want some cat articles here

That is mysterious. Are you sure you haven't checked the box that says "Consume all entries" when you set up your blog on CodeProject? That might do it.
If not, please remove the CodeProject category tags from your feed, and try using only rel-tags from now on, and we'll see how that works:

Must be on my end only. Please try that rel-tag approach I mentioned then. Delete all category tags with CodeProject in them as well.

When submitting an article selecting the section "Client side scripting", the subsection "JacaScript" is sometimes available, and sometimes not! Isn't this a bug?

Instead of adding download links to the body of the article, wouldn't it be better to put the links in the panel on the left side? I see it as an exandable tree item, like so:

I've been noodling with this and a major problem as I see it is space.
There's not enough space on the left hand side to show article filenames or explanations.

If there's room for one item, it could be "Downloads" which would show a pop-up window with a list of available files related to the article in a checklistbox.

A UI for something as important as downloads shouldn't be hidden within a popup.
I'm not sure what problem you're trying to solve - what's broken that needs fixing?

It's not really broken. I was just thinking that if an article-related file is uploaded, the article page itself should support downloading the file instead of putting a link inside the article body (which could accidently get deleted during a subsequent edit). In essence, it should be treated like "Browse Code" is, because code browsing actually uses the uploaded source code. Why does the article's body have to have a link do download the very same file that "Browse Code" already knows about?

Or, you could put it on the right side as the first item...
Or, put related articles on the right side to make room for "Download" on the left (above "Tagged as"), and make "Tagged as" a hoverable item.

There's a link at the side (above the listed files). If you check the checkboxes of the files you want to attach, and click this link (it says something like "include files in article"), this will include the relevant files.
I seem to remember that the files used to be added automatically but I no longer use the article wizard. I prefer to send my article over whole.

Hello codeproject-community,
in my company, internet access is only permitted via a proxy server that controls which URLs are allowed to access and which are not.
I'm lucky that codeproject is allowed! 
But every now and then, I come across an interesting article on codeproject that contains images embedded from an external source, which is forbidden by our proxy.
This could make the article quite useless and it requires me to view it on my private PC at home.
So, I kindly ask all the codeproject authors to upload all their images to codeproject, which makes it easier for me (and maybe lots of other readers) to view the articles in their company environment.
It'll also help to keep the articles readable over time as external links may change or break.
Maybe codeproject could also show a warning, if somebody wants to add an "external image" to an article!

I'm not suggesting that this is true in all cases but, where an article has images from another location, this is a pretty good indication that there's some plagiarism going on there (even if it's just the image). We take a very dim view of plagiarised content and look to remove it ASAP. However, there is an exception to this - if an article has been consumed from a blog then the images will still be sourced from the blog.

According to the guidelines, external images are not allowed and such article should not pass moderation - of course we are all human and make mistakes...
If you find such article you should report it (here[^] probably the best) and the issue will be handled...If it's a sign of wrongdoing - like Pete suggested it will be removed, if not it will be fixed...

I guess it is using Google or Twitter handle details to pull data. OG's URL you mentioned changes to his G+ ID while Pete's changes to Twitter.
